I was looking for a place to rent because going to Big Bend is on my bucket list. I do have an incurable disease so after I spoke with my GI doctor she okayed for me to take the trip. I reached out in an effort to find a home to rent. I didn't want a hotel because I have to have a fridge for my meds and I can only have liquids only, no solid foods, due to my disease. Janet and her husband decided NOT to rent anything to me because I am sick. I believe that violates the Americans with Disabilities Act but whatever. I wish I could give them zero stars. *UPDATE: They replied that they were willing to rent us another one of their cabins and that is an out right LIE. I didn’t fully realize it until I was here, but being in this space helped me find myself again. In the stillness and calm… in the way the rocks are intentionally placed… something inside me realigned. My creativity returned. And the view—oh, the view! The mountain sits perfectly framed, like your own personal movie screen. Except nature is the star, and the show never stops being beautiful. If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but a space to reconnect, reflect, and feel inspired—this is it. Oh and my boyfriend Ken and fur baby Sky definitely agree! Although sky suggested against smelling...
