By far one of the coolest and most unique Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail Jamie has put into building this place is nothing short of incredible. I loved all the details on the walls and mixture of textures built throughout the place. It was so damn cozy—wish I could bottle up the smell of it too, like a homey campfire.

PS... The rain sticks were oddly one of my favorite parts—I spent a good hour on our last night slowly tipping them back and forth, and was welcomed with a rainbow and the lightest of rain sprinkles at sunrise the next morning. (I’ve never felt so powerful 😂.)

This is a great rental. If you don't mind using a composting toilet and taking minimal showers, this is a fantastic place to relax and stargaze. The satellite Internet surprised me. It was quite good. The house is cozy and small. The earthbag architecture is a great example of accessible housing for anyone able to do the labor involved. The roads are rough but passable. The rates are reasonable. Just don't expect a 5 star hotel experience. This is really remote and perfect for soul searching travelers. It beautiful around Big Bend. Great place to view the night sky. Was able to capture the Andromeda galaxy with just my iPhone. Place is much larger than the pictures make it seem and there are plenty of things to do on the property. Only ~20 mins to Terlingua and the BB park entrance.
