I just loved this clothing optional resort! The staff, guests and residents are exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a welcoming place even if you are a first-time visitor. The rooms are large, very comfortable and scrupulously clean. The huge conversation pool is where I spent much of my time, loving the warm, sunny winter days and the great company. Several newly-found friends even invited me to a hike up nearby Sombrero Peak for a challenging outing - just great people. Go check out this lovely resort and have fun. Don't forget to NOT pack that bathing suit!

Spent the day at this resort, located in the gorgeous Sonoran desert, surrounded by Saguaro cacti. Check in was quick and easy, a short tour is provided for new guests. I’ve been here many times now and have always felt safe and comfortable as a woman here. There’s a small bar, as well as a restaurant that’s open only on weekends. There’s a small shed that contains pool floaties to borrow, be sure to ask front desk to show you where it is. Spending the day swimming at Mira Vista is a must!

What a great place. The bar is fun on Friday and Saturday nights and Scott the bartender is great. Food is good but the place could use better lighting in the restaurant. The Sonoran Steak Salad is good. There are motel rooms (casitas) and condos for rent. You can also buy a condo here. There are 5 RV spots, which are usually reserved so make a reservation in advance. The guests and members are friendly and the place is immaculate. We love Mira Vista.

This was our first visit to Mira Vista. For full disclosure, we picked one of the least expensive rooms, what is called a standard room, and at best would be considered 2 star quality. No headboard for the bed, inoperative deadbolt, a shower that was just, and a small alcove holding a mini fridge with a 2 cup coffee maker perched on top, and no microwave. We were well aware of the hours for the restaurant and came prepared for that but without a microwave, we had no way to heat up what we had planned. It would be a relatively easy and inexpensive job to build a small framework into that alcove to house the mini fridge, a coffee maker, and a microwave and make the room much more functional. That seemed to be a theme on where the resort chooses to use their resources. ||The grounds are very nice, pool areas are great and the food and service in the restaurant was very good. Nice exercise room and a regular crowd for weekend pickleball. While I would think many visitors are there only for a short duration, perhaps just the day, we were at the Mira Vista for 3 days of a 3 week trip with luggage to reflect that. When checking in, I asked where the luggage cart(s) was, there are none leaving us to hoof it with our luggage. Seems like a simple thing for the guest’s convenience but apparently deemed unnecessary. For those unfamiliar with the resort, choose your room carefully. ||While reading through the property policies, I was shocked to see this statement: “suntan lotions are terrible for the pool filtration system. Please shower before using the pool or spa.” Arizona desert sun, and the priority is on the pool equipment, not the visitor’s skin??? That is incredibly reckless.||Will we return? The...

We were in Tucson recently and on our to-do, list was a stop at Mira Vista resort. We were anxious to visit as we’d heard a lot of positive comments. We were greeted by Jen who gave us a quick but thorough tour of the site. She also served as bartender and was cheerful and friendly ! The resort itself is beautiful and maintained very nicely. It’s worth mentioning that the restaurant and bar are closed during the week, but they have a cantina to get drinks.||We were only able to go during the week so there were maybe 15-20 other people during the time we were there, some residents and some members. Everyone was very friendly, and we had some nice conversations. All ages and sizes, everyone relaxed and nude. ||They have a small hot tub toward the office, a main pool, a smaller pool they use for volleyball and a larger, heated conversation pool. All of which were very nicely maintained. The pool area is the only place where you are required to be nude, the rest of the resort you can cover yourself, but nobody we saw bothered? There is plenty of shade available and the misters were running so the heat was never an issue. ||We had such a nice time there we made it a point to go back a couple days later on our way out of town. We’ve been to clothing-optional/nude locations. Mira Vista stands really stands out for its relaxed vibe, friendly residents, and staff. We felt right at home here and can’t...

Ive been living here for about a year. Some of the people here are sexually perverse in my opinion since the resort has added condos. There are unwanted advances from some of the people that live here. And some that stay at the resort.I first came here about 10 years ago when it was just a resort. At the time the people that visited here were wonderful. Now everything has changed. The owners Wayne and Suzanne have been horrible and mean from my perception. I believe they have cut corners on the building of the condos. The condo I live in has been here less then 5 years and is falling apart. Cracks in the tiles on the floor and cracks through out the walls. Black mold has formed all around on the untreated wood. The home owners had to come together to try and solve issue. We pay a H.O.A and the landscape is not up to par in my opinion. Management from my perception is relaxed at best. We have been dealing with a horrible bug and ant problem with no help from management. Some of the home owner have came together to try and come up with solutions as problem keep coming. Not all people here are bad. Within this resort living. There are some gems here w/unwavering kindness. Please remember this is my experience and my opinion. I recommend educating yourself about the places you would like to visit. Not everyone opinion or perception is the same. This one is mine and I stick beside it...
