Wow. this is one of my favorite Airbnb experiences I had so far! 5 stars! I has been looking for a place to celebrate my wedding anniversary. We want a getaway from our busy life to disconnect from the world and focus on ourselves. And this place is a perfect one! There are only 6 units in the property but they are spread out so it felt like we have the place to ourselves. The deck is so huge so we can see the amazing view from every corners of the tent. The pictures don’t do it justice. The king-size bed is very comfortable. I loved to wake up for the morning coffee, yoga, listening to birds singing and chirping while watching the sun rising. There was a gentle breeze from the mountain with a soothing scent from the pine trees throughout the day. At night, we enjoyed stargazing from the hammock. It reminded us to appreciate the beauty of nature.
The place is about 15-20 mins from Marble Falls and Burnett so it is a pretty comfortable distance to go into town for food and other activities. The phone reception is spotty but worked when needed.
The host is very nice and responsive. He made sure to be there to greet us with Anniversary balloons and roses when we arrived. we really appreciate that. He also showed us how to operate the tent and generator so we get the best experience for our stay. It is so cool that you can open all panels to see the view of the mountain from inside the tent.
Overall, this is an amazing stay that we didn’t want to leave. Anyway, we plan to be back to watch the meteor shower from the dome next time....
Read moreOur stay at Loving Hearts Retreat was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, Laura, the host, made us feel right at home. She’s one of the kindest, most patient, and caring people we've met—she took the time to make sure we were completely settled in and comfortable, which set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The setting is absolutely stunning. The tents and the dome are both peaceful sanctuaries, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully placed to take full advantage of the natural beauty around. We originally booked a tent but had to switch to the dome halfway through due to availability, and even that transition was handled seamlessly—Laura made sure everything was ready so we could move over without delay or hassle.
Even though the dome had sustained some hail damage, it didn’t take away from its beauty. Waking up in the morning, looking out at the stillness of nature through the windows, was such a calming and unforgettable experience.
What really blew us away was the attention to detail. Everything you might need is already there—ponytail holders, Q-tips, shampoo, body wash, creamer, coffee, plates—you name it. Every little item was so well thought out, which made us feel truly cared for.
This retreat is a rare gem, and we can’t recommend it enough. We’ll...
Read moreWe were able to book a geo dome last minute and ended up having the best vacation we've ever had. It allowed us to be surrounded by nature, and forget about our daily life. It is slightly more expensive than a hotel, but the experience was worth it. I heard moo moo cows from the ranch behind while showering.
AC, water, and power were working fine. They provided different kinds of games and gadgets from galaxy projector to astronomical telescope. The galaxy projector adds character to the dome, must try. Firewood was also provided.
The location is golden, close to Marble Falls, full of good restaurants, HEB, Walmart, breweries, state parks and attractions. You will enjoy nature yet never be far away from civilization.
Keep in mind that it's a tent, can't be locked. We kept everything in the car when we were out. But they have a simple door latch to lock from inside the tent. Security codes were required to get in and out of the campsite.
NO BATHROOM DOOR! Toilet located at the innest corner of the bathroom. We used two beanbag game boards to block the bathroom door to warn each family member since we have a little kid.
The website failed to mention one thing: they now have good WiFi.
Warning! I felt slightly sad when it was time...
