I stayed here this year with my friends for our "zero day" during my section hike from Hot Springs to Hugh's Gap. I can not say enough how fabulous this hostel is! Taft, who built it, thought of everything, up to making sure each little cabin has a view of the creek. Amy, his sister that runs it, is a true gem of a person. She keeps the place immaculately clean, well decorated, and is always available for anything a hiker staying there would need. Coming to this place was like coming home. The beds are comfortable, the bedding is nice, and the decor is something I would have in my home. It was all very welcoming. I highly recommend this place for A.T. hikers and also those who just want a retreat away. A special thanks to Amy for all she did to make our stay a highlight in our section hike this year. All your work in the background made for an amazing stay for us from the shuttle service, the Stoney Knob Restaurant recommendation, and on to include the hours of conversation you took time to have with us. We truly had an awesome stay!

One of the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest hostels along the Appalachian Trail. Staff are super helpful and kind. Large resupply options for both short and long term. Private cabins available as well as a bunk house. Very reasonably priced. Large and very clean bathhouse. Laundry available on site. If your in the Sam's Gap area be sure and stop in for a night. You won't regret it.

Amazing place to stay! Modern bathhouse, great community cabin, comfy beds, great location and superior host! Will be returning. Update:3/30/23-4/2/23 return visit was just as awesome as my initial visit. Amy is amazing and treats the guests like family. This is a great place for thru hikers, segment hikers to relax and refuel! Added some additional photos

We stayed 4/21/19 in a cabin on the hill. It was a cool crisp evening, the cabin was warm and cozy. This morning it was beautiful with the birds singing and a rooster down the holler crowing good morning. We then got to see the rest of the place, it was awesome. They have several accommodations to rent, a house, bunk houses or cabin, you can even sleep in a hammock or camp. They have a common room and a shower house and picnic tables and a camp store. If you are on the road less traveled (old Ashville hwy 23) or just need a place off I-26 give them a call, you should plan ahead. Word of mouth has gotton around and they book up quickly now. We got lucky and we are...

Nature's Inn is a beautiful facility with bunk houses, small cabins, tent/hammock lodge, and a larger cabin, all at affordable tastes rates. Amy and Taft are excellent hosts, and the park is awesome. We took a crew of boy scouts on an AT trek, planning to stay at Nature's Inn on our last day. When bad weather cut our trek short, Amy was able to accommodate our group of 15 a day early. They were such gracious hosts, and so helpful, that I can't recommend the hostel enough! We will definitely be back next year to pickup where we left off. Thank you,...
