Treetop Retreat, LLC — Hotel in Martinsville

If I could give treetop infinite stars I absolutely would. I reached out to Christina in hopes to pull together a wedding in a month. She was down for the challenge immediately. When we went to visit to make sure it would work we instantly fell in love. You can’t help but to love this place right off the bat. The views are honestly enough for me. The lodge is huge and is really perfect for anything. I mean come on we had a whole wedding there! Lol. We were also lucky enough to get the honeymoon suite which was SO BEAUTIFUL. My now wife and I claimed that the whole weekend but it was also used as my getting ready area for the wedding day! Honestly we were so sad to leave the honeymoon suite. We could have stayed there whole week. I highly highly highly recommend this place if you are looking for the perfect getaway cabin or place to have an intimate wedding. Treetop was not our original plan but due to COVID it became the plan and I am so happy it turned out that way. Christina and the staff truly went above and beyond for us. She basically kept me sane the whole month leading up to the wedding. Our photographer had covid and she was so quick to offer to take our pictures which I will forever be grateful for. The beautiful Garden Suite is one of the most peaceful, calming, thought invoking places I've ever visited. Enjoying a sunrise that seems to have been sent to you from the Heavens is breathtaking. A blink away from the fun that is Brown County/Nashville area yet you feel like you're on a private side of the world. The owners certainly know the small things that are huge needs within a living space and they come through 10 fold on them down to creamer for your coffee (which no one thinks to pack haha at least we didn't), down to poo bags if you chose to bring your four legged babies along. The five acres feel like 50 at any given time of day! Decorated in soul soothing colors, a fireplace, a jacuzzi tub that would give Julia Roberts' in Pretty Woman a run for it's money, a kitchenette for movie nights when all you want are snacks and quick eats. A standing shower for them morning needs of steam and personal concerts haha. The Treetop Retreat is the absolute best name for this location, an adult treehouse that feels like a home. I wish I could leave 100/10 because that’s how amazing this place is!!! My now husband and I got married at treetop on 9/21/24 and it was an absolute dream! Planning a wedding can be hectic and make you feel a little crazy and Christina (the owner of Treetop) made the process feel like a breeze in every way! The location is gorgeous inside and out, they have beautiful wedding decor that is free to borrow, she sent me a list of vendor contacts local to the area and treetop which made everything so easy! She is a beautiful and kind person to work with for your wedding and her personality reflects the beauty of the property. Our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and amazing everything was! We will be back every year for our anniversary. If you are looking for a beautiful spot to have an intimate outdoor wedding, I would highly suggest Treetop.
