PROS* Beautiful area and grounds. Quiet. Zero problems with neighbors. Tammy the hostess was accomodating and friendly. Communication was on point, and the site is clearly marked with clear Signage throughout. The park is a real gem on this front. CONS We stayed in the Avion Airstream Spot 14. The photos online are misleading and obviously older photos. The layout is the same...but not nearly as nice in person. Check in time was 3pm; We arrived about 3:30pm. The camper was filthy inside, and outside. There were tiny sugar ants pretty much everywhere inside. The bathroom has a huge soft spot in the floor. The window had no cover for privacy. Around the sink, cabinets and flooring desperately need some caulking to keep bugs out. Zero air flow in the bathroom, and a stuck open roof vent, so it was like entering HADES in the Texas heat just to use the toilet. The AC worked but only really cooled the front part of the camper. The "bedroom" area was super hot; we used their boxfan on hi and no covers to sleep. The windows were filthy and covered in cobwebs and caked in dirt. The outdoor lights only had a few bulbs that worked. The camp pad itself was just sand and dirt; a mess. Some ground cover or concrete or even just gravel would be nicer. Sent an email and txt to Tammy about the interior. We immediately went back to town and spent $55 on cleaning supplies and cheap sheets. The bed was made, but the covers were stained up. I was unsure of the status of the sheets, so I just took them all off. The mattress itself was REPULSIVE and filthy. One of the pillows was disgusting and yellow and worn. The cushions to the couch were so dirty and covered in hair and debris, even after they "cleaned". The floors had bits of trash, pieces of food, bugs, and dust bunnies galore. I swept with a provided broom and used a swiffer and lysol I purchased myself. The fridge was MOSTLY clean inside, but the freezer was filthy. The coffee cup I tried to use had obvious coffee on the rim - had not been cleaned well. The oven was clean inside. It didn't light properly (gas) but luckily we brought a lighter and my husband and I had to tag team getting it to light every time. It was tricky. There were ZERO hot pads or anything, those would have been nice to have. I used my towel. A rug inside the door would have also been nice to catch some of the dust., and perhaps an occassional shake-out of the welcome mat and sweeping of the stairs. In the middle of my cleaning, Tammy showed up, having finally received my email about the condition of the camper. She was super friendly and apologetic. She got her maids back out right away and we sat outside in the heat and just waited while they cleaned. We were told they just "overlooked" cleaning that camper, apparently. They were apologetic as well. Tammy kept saying she was going to go town and get money to reimburse us for the expense of things I had to buy to make our stay comfortable. She also offered use of one of her kayaks for free for a day, but we clearly brought our own so it wasn't of much use to us. We didn't use the kayak, and never heard from Tammy again. No reimbursement. We will not be back, unfortunately. If the camper had been cleaned and maintained, and I didn't feel like I had gotten scammed by clearly misleading HGTV-worthy photos from 5 years ago, maybe we'd be back.More attention needs to be placed on cleaning and maintenance of this airstream (don't know about...

The place was beautiful but the cabins…not so beautiful.
We paid $600+ on 2 cabins for 2 nights. We got there late at night (10:30-11ish) and went inside. The place looked okay, very bland but we were tired so we showered (which we found human hair in our cabins towels which gross but whatever) in the cabinet there was rat poop and dead bugs all over it…eww but whatever we are tired so we went to bed. The bed was filthy with dirt like they just made the bed without washing. By this point it was 12am-1am ish the WiFi didn’t work, no service, and the most boring movies that they so helpfully provided that I’d never heard of. Idk about you but I need something playing to fall asleep. They said they had WiFi so I thought no big deal I’ll put it on my iPad. Apparently the WiFi is spotty but they didn’t tell us that till we got there. Whatever though it’s late we just cleaned the bed and went to sleep. Well during the night my boyfriend got stung twice by scorpions during the night while asleep under the covers and we killed 4 more during the stay. The next day we were able to see the full extent of the dirty room. Dead bugs covered the baseboards. It was so gross and unsanitary. They charge you a $30 cleaning fee on each room but the room was disgusting when we got there. We left that next day and didn’t stay another night. We let my brother and sister-in-law stay in there with her 2 year old and they had to clean it just for her to come inside. She told me the next day that she slept better in her overlander than the cabin with ac just because it was cleaner.
I did reach out to management to get this resolved before taking it to Google but was told she would call me back and never did. Both cabins were dirty ours was just worse. She assured me the room was clean 24hrs before we got there and put clean bedding on too. I can assure you that was not 24hrs worth of bugs and dirt and the sheets definitely had dirt on it and crumbs that we had to dust out.
I don’t recommend the cabins to anyone. Save you money and just do a campsite or something because it wasn’t worth $600 for two of them and it seriously ruined my whole stay. The place was gorgeous and we had fun but it would have been nice to come and sleep in a clean bed and not have to clean the place when...
