PuukoaPalms Vacation Rentals - Maui Hawaii — Hotel in Maui

This rental is an overpriced run-down flat in serious need for a renovation and was not properly cleaned when we arrived (our feet were brown within 10min of walking barefeet inside). The pipes made a deafening whistle sound each time we turned on the water and there were cockroaches all over the place. As we had just settled in, we got informed via a note left under the door that there was a pesticide service coming the next day to spray against bugs in the apartments (while all our stuff was in there, which we had to pack and put away for the services to have access!) I've never heard of such an inconvenience happening while I am staying somewhere - better do this stuff while there are no guests staying in the rooms, how about that? We could not return to our apartment for several hours although we were jet-lagged & in desperate need for sleep. And the days after there were construction works directly under our window - super! Overall we were looking forward to staying there but we're extremely disappointed and feel like we wasted too much money on a room clearly not worth it. I personally would be rather ashamed to offer my guests such "hospitality". We were disgusted by the roaches and did not even get basic rest here, let alone the so-called...

We stayed at Puu Koa Palms for 4 nights and we really enjoyed our stay here. Stefano is such a great host, and he made sure that our check-in/check-out process was easy. The place is very clean, and well-equipped. You also get a peek of the ocean depending on where your unit is located. The starting location of Road to Hana is just minutes away, Haleakala National Park is only an hour drive from here, and the airport is only 15 minutes away. Would 100% recommend this place if you're looking for a place to stay in...

WOW!! We had such a great stay here. It is in a quiet little community that is easily accessible and close to so many interesting things!! It was a perfect stay for our family and had all the amenities we could want plus more! We will definitely be staying here again when we visit the beautiful island!!
