This resort charges prices higher than quoted and higher than listed on their website. The owner/manager went into our cabin w/o permission or knowledge while we were away for 5 hours 1 day to: as she said "turn off a light". Yet when we returned she had turned off the air conditioner and we had cash missing. Upon our return she immediately asked what caused a stain on the carpet in 1 cabin. She entered and began cleaning a non existant stain on carpet. We rented 3 cabins for 7 days. Day before check out we were asked to leave earlier than 11am checout as had others renting the cabins later that day. Upon check out she asked to do a walk through, we had not been told we needed to do this but had no problem as we always leave rentals clean. Then began her list if additional charges which was not listed in cabins, on website nor gg iui ven to us in paper or verbal form at check in. Any dish left uncleaned would incur a $5 per dish cleaning charge, any towel with a stain would incur a replacement fee. List was too lengthy to list here. They also do not tell you at check in that they house their horse and many sheep in your cabins grass and picnic area during the day as lawn mowers and leave feces for you to step in. I do not recommend this resort to anyone it is not a people friendly...

Blink as you’re navigating the turns on Highway 95 south of Riggins and you’ll miss it- but you’ve gotta stop! You might discount this little place tucked back in the trees, but that would be a mistake- Family owned and operated, you can tell there has been a lot of time and passion poured in to the property. The cabin has enough amenities to get you by without struggle, but it feels rustic enough that you’ll be having folks call you Laura Ingalls Wilder. Am I “off grid”? Close enough. Can I still stream an episode of The Office if I need to? Probably. The white noise generated by the river is immaculate. The grass in the common area is lush and green and perfect for sitting in while you “ground” yourself. The bed and bedding were super comfortable and I slept like a dream (tip: leave the slider open a bit so you can fall asleep to the river sounds!)The old yellow lab who guided me down to the private beach was a sweet potato, and the owner gave me lots of tips on the property and was so welcoming. I can’t believe it took me 24 years to finally stop here- I think cabin #6 might just be my favorite “quick getaway” vacation destination now. 13/10 will be back...

This place is magical. We absolutely loved our experience here. The family that owns it is absolutely wonderful. The residents there are wonderful. The cabin was very neat and clean. The cabin had everything we needed to make a meal including coffee! Beautiful scenery and sounds and peace. A wonderful place to rejuvenate mentally. We loved it. Thank you. Facebook showed me a link and the site was great information. The calendar really helped narrow down what was available so that was greatly appreciated. The only part I can even mention that makes it difficult, is in this fast paced world, there is no online booking option and when you call typically it's a wait to get a call back. Typically if there is no option to book online or a wait for a call back the average person looking for a getaway will just book with someone else as it is more convenient. I highly recommend this beautiful retreat hoping they have a online booking...

Wow! This is the perfect place for a large family vacation/reunion. There is something for everyone, cabins, permanent RVs to rent, and one or two camp sites to bring your own RV. We stayed at Pinehurst Resort last week on a family vacation with friends. Keith and Vicki are incredible hosts and owners. The put up with our teenagers playing volleyball outside their house until 1130 most nights we were there. Keith even stopped what he was doing and helped me with an issue I was having with the axle on my RV, so I could make the long safe drive home the next day. I can’t say enough good things about this little slice of heaven they have built.
