We had really high hopes for this place after hearing about it from friends. Walking in, the place is old but cute. There's a game room for the kids and pool tables and picnic benches. The staff is incredibly friendly. But the first thing we noticed was that there were no showers available to rinse off before and after getting out of the pools. Apparently there were some in the back pool area but they were closed off and unavailable for use. It started off good upon entering the hot pool. It's only about 2 feet deep and quite warm but felt great on a cold, snowy winter day . It was so hot we could only soak for a few minutes at a time, so we would then get into the larger swimming pool. Upon first entering the larger pool, I couldn't help but notice all the green algae bits and wads of hair floating in the water. I didn't think much of it at first until I started swimming towards the deeper end of the pool. That's when things really started to go downhill. I couldn't help but notice all the thick, green algae that coated the walls and bottom of the pool. It was actually disgusting. You couldn't touch the walls with your hands or feet because the slime was so thick. We quickly realized it probably wasn't a good idea to go underwater or even stick our face in the water. I wouldn't even venture a guess as to how long it had been since the larger pool had been cleaned. Both of the pools were quite worn and pitted too. We enjoyed our time there for the most part, but most likely will not return simply because the larger pool was...

Wonderful spot with the friendliest people. Recently bought by the Nez Perce so older reviews may not be reflective of current status. This is definitely not a fancy resort so don't expect that, but it's tidy and the water is wonderful with no smell of sulfur. Considering the extremely reasonable price I really wonder what those below complaining about facilities were expecting. They're slowly putting money into it as they are supported by visitors, building out showers etc that were rusted out when they bought it. I was not charged for a basket so I have no clue what others were talking about.

The gentleman and his partner that run it is are reiki practitioners and work with the water if that's your sort of thing. It is alcohol free in the lodge and pools to maintain the positive environment. Temperatures were 88 °F and 104 °F when I was there in August.

Closed Mondays and Tuesdays to clean and it shows in a good way. Some algae buildup in the cooler pool but trivial compared to unmaintained springs. Camping is very affordable and plenty of it and while there's slight background noise from the highway 1/2 mile away but it's hardly noticable.

Lots of friendly locals and passers by to talk to. I just became a regular and will be stopping every time I'm driving past as it's just a couple minutes off...

We went to visit Zims just as we have hundreds of times since we were young children, except now we have a child of our own, we paid then sat in the lobby for about 45 minutes trying to get our little one ready to go out into the pool, only to decide it wasn’t going to work (as many other mothers understand). I went in to change and my boyfriend went up to ask for a refund, the man at the counter said “no refunds it says that on the receipt” so my boyfriend asked if we could get a credit or something, and the man proceeded to say “no there are no refunds”, my boyfriend when said he understands that’s why day passes would suffice. Then the front desk man called the cops on us, telling my boyfriend to leave the premises. He was waiting on the baby and I to be done changing before we could leave. The man then took a picture of my boyfriend, while still telling him to leave. At this point I’m rushing to get dressed and everything packed up.

No where in the establishment does it say “no refunds”. We go to zims often and didn’t want to leave under any circumstances other than our baby was not having the swim that day, and it was getting dark and cold fast. We would have used the day passes and then returned a thousand more times as we have all our lives. Now Zims has lost us as customers forever. Very...

Great place to stay!! Hot water, cool nights, mountains, what else could you ask for!! The rustic atmosphere here is what makes this place perfect for the setting. The Nez Perce took over the property which I believe is life coming full circle, they lived, breathed and traveled this area way before we did. At night when the sky is clear the stars are so bright. That's one thing you don't have in town because of all the lights. In the fall you can hear the elk bugle, its such an awesome sound when you hear these large creatures calling out to each other. They have a resident fox family in the area which is fun to watch. Hope you enjoy. The last time I was there the services they offered for a camp site was power and water. The water to each rv site is warm as it comes from the mineral springs which makes it nice for using your outside cleaning station that I use for washing my dogs off. The day before we left we had an enormous web in the back of our pickup, must have been one of those rocky mountain spiders, big. I hope he decided he didn't want to go back with us. As always leave it better than you found it and enjoy 😉.

Just went and while it’s not a five star resort, I loved the value. My kids enjoyed the games in the lodge. Free pool table use. Arcade games were cheaper than most. The hot springs water is resourced for the whole lot so that means a warm flushing toilet. I ain’t complaining bout that. Just sayin. The young lady working there was super nice and accommodating. You can bring your own food, which is always nice. There are some snacks for purchase but but not a lot of options and pricey. I did buy some freeze dried fruit bc we love freeze dried fruit and it was yummy. Two pools. One small for relaxing hot soaks only. That one is hotter than the bigger pool which is for swimming fun. There are life jackets for kids which was nice. Bring your own floats if you wish. Basketball hoop and balls. Family friendly. Some of the elder ladies that didn’t want to be splashed weren’t very friendly. But with all due respect I mean c’mon. If you don’t want to get wet, don’t go to a pool with kids. Sorry not sorry. We stayed the day. Great value! Definitely will go again if we’re in the area. Recommend.
