Hello Amy, Dan and Henry, Thank you so much, for opening your home up to be a B&B! "Thank you" for a Fabulous Experience and Hospitality! You made us feel very welcomed! My husband Louis and I really loved our stay at the Inn...we wished we could have stayed longer. We had just came Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown Virginia...called Amy on the road and she did a fabulous job accommodating with our requests. We couldn't believe that "The Inns at 8th and Main" made us feel like we were still in the time and era of trip to Virginia. From the outside of the Inn and throughout every room it was breathe taking! Not to mention all of amenities: Fresh Water not bottled water, snacks and chocolates to the Robes provided with your logo!! BTW: My husband loved the robe so much I had to buy him one!! While in the Closet Store I was able to purchase the specially made lotion and bath salts made just for the Inn to bring home with me!! That made my day:) I know this is getting lengthy but I have to tell about the Breakfast!! Everything was over the top...Homemade Biscuits over Gravy which Dan made...hats off to him:) Yummy Quiche Bake, Fresh Fruit with Amy's secret recipe topping and then as if that was enough she made this yummy Orange Butter with Biscuit's and Jam! I wanted to stay another night just do I could do Breakfast again :)) I would highly recommend "The Inn at 8th and Main" to travelers or locals. I know we will travel from South Dakota where we live to be pampered again... and since we have family in OHIO. Thanks for taking the time to read this, Sandra Harmon And "Thanks Again " to Amy, Dan and Henry for making this possible:))

What an AMAZING experience staying at your beautiful Stone House in lovely McConnellsville! From the moment we were greeted by Amy & Dan we truly felt at home! I’ve stayed at many Irish B &Bs through the years where hospitality is what they are known for; this is the first time I truly felt like I was experiencing that level of hospitality in the US!! Thank you, Amy & Dan for making us feel right at home; a beautiful comfortable room; Miss Jane’s Suite & access to a lovely sitting room with the comfiest chairs & McCoy pottery that intrigued me. Breakfast was so delicious; a beautiful strawberry dish, sausage & gravy on the best homemade biscuits with perfect scrambled eggs! I will definitely be back! Don’t forget to explore their antique shop next door! There’s a McCoy vase waiting my return!

It’s worth the drive to McConnellsville just to stay at the Inns at 8th & Main! Super hosts Amy and Dan were friendly, funny and made us feel immediately welcome. They thought of EVERYTHING a traveler would need. The bed is soft, the linens perfect and breakfast was scrumptious, The house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and sparkling clean! And all very reasonably priced. What makes the stay even better is that the Inn is just a short walk from the Morgan County Museum (don’t laugh - it was really fun and interesting), Town Square Collectibles, the Old Bridge brewery, the Muskingum River, the Chatterbox Restaurant, the world’s smallest Kroger and the newest attraction - the love locks on the square.

Dear Amy and Dan,

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the exceptional experience we had during our stay at The Inns at 8th & Main. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed into your beautiful home away from home and treated with the utmost care and kindness.

Your hospitality truly went above and beyond our expectations. Every interaction with both of you was filled with genuine warmth and attentiveness, making us feel like honored guests throughout our entire stay. The milk and cookies that awaited us upon arrival were a delightful and unforgettable touch, creating an amazing warm welcome that made us feel immediately at ease.

Amy and Dan, the meals you prepared were absolutely delicious, and we savored every bite. It was evident that a lot of love and care went into each dish, and our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the culinary delights you presented. The milk and cookies quickly became a must-have treat for our children, who looked forward to it every evening.

The Inns at 8th & Main itself is a stunning establishment. The attention to detail in the design, the cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the impeccable cleanliness all contributed to making our stay truly memorable. We felt like we were enveloped in a haven of comfort and tranquility, away from the busyness of everyday life.

Your commitment to providing a memorable experience for your guests shines through in every aspect of the inn. The dedication and passion you have for your work are evident, and it made our stay even more special. You have created a truly special place, and we are thankful to have had the opportunity to stay with you as a family.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm hospitality, amazing food, and beautiful home away from home. It was an absolute pleasure to be your guests, and we look forward to the day when we can return to The Inns at 8th & Main for another delightful stay.

With heartfelt...

In a world of fast paced, no time for personal attention, The Inns at 8th and Main are a class above all else. Dan, Amy and Nell, we are so thankful for making our stay a wonderful experience that we will always treasure. It was our 28th wedding anniversary (belated vacation) and we were going to "The Wilds" nature preserve to see the exciting animals up close on a "Wildside Tour" highly recommend it. I booked a room (The Christy Suite) at The Inns at 8th and Main for two nights. I expected a place for us to lay our heads, have a home base for the zoo and enjoy a free typical breakfast. I'm pleased to say how wrong that I was. We underestimated the uniqueness of The Stone House and it's rich history. We underestimated the comfort of the room. We were greeted with the warmest hostess, Nell, upon arrival. Nell explained everything we needed regarding the room and suggested a great spot for dinner in walking distance. The same night we met our inn keepers Dan and Amy; they were very hospitable and told us to let them know should we need anything. After some chit chat we headed off to dinner and agreed to meet for morning breakfast. One night of comfortable rest and up for breakfast we headed downstairs to a beautifully prepared breakfast table. . When it came time for us to leave, we hated to go but headed to their newly opened Percys antique shop and brought some...
