This place is a must go, the views alone are worth the drive up the hill. Their wines are delicious and the 828 was like the French wines off the Rhone river, and I love my French wines. J Wrigley Vineyards has a large selection of wine grown from their own local estate vineyard. Lots of choices, so there's something for everyone.

The views are breathtaking and my pictures don't do the place justice. They also are part of the Harvest Host program so bring your RV, they have power and water, but call ahead spaces are limited. This is what we did last night. We made pesto pasta dinner in the RV and enjoyed our dinner on the patio with their J Wrigley wines. Perfect ending to our trip to Oregon.

They also offer a VRBO so stop in an stay for the day or stay for a night. The Vineyard is owned by John and his beautiful wife Jody. Their staff is so great, we were running on "Baby Time" we called to let them know we would be running late. They were so sweet and told us not to worry and they would see us soon. Jody and her daughter Jordan welcomed us with their Border Collie in tow. Jody opened the tasting room for us and made us feel at home. It was so comfortable and just steps to the outside patio.

What you see is what you get, and that says alot, just good people who care. John came up in the morning to see us off. Thank you Jody & John, see you in October and blessings for another great JW...

My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon while driving from Portland to the coast. We absolutely loved it. It was truly one of the highlights of our week in Oregon. First, the view is absolutely stunning. It was so relaxing sipping and decompressing after our wedding week. Second, the wines were fantastic. I don't like white wines, but I really loved their Chardonnay. We especially liked their Pinots. The young woman working in the tasting room was delightful. When we arrived and mentioned it was our honeymoon they popped a bottle of their sparkling "Jubilee" to celebrate. Then, while paying for our tastings at the end she told us to go take any bottle we wanted, "on the house". We were completely surprised by this generous offer, but she insisted! We had an unbelievable bottle of Pinot Noir that wasn't available for the tasting flight. We opened it later that evening while watching the sunset on the beach.

I can't recommend J Wrigley Vineyards enough! We will go out of our way to come back the next time we are in the Portland Area. Thank you all for such a...

J Wrigley, you are truly a magical place! My husband and I recently attended the 828 (single clone) tasting event, appropriately hosted on August 28th, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. John Wrigley is not only an exceptional winemaker but a gifted storyteller and educator. The hospitality of the entire JW team was second to none, the view is meant for daydreaming, and the vertical tasting was delicious. Thank you for such a memorable event! To anyone looking for a perfect spot in the Willamette Valley ... wind your way to the top of Cherry Hill Road, find a spot on the patio, and I promise you'll be well...

I visited with a group of friends around the time they opened on March 13th. Out of all the wineries we went to that weekend I had the most fun here. We got to meet Jody and she was a joy to chat with! I loved every wine I tried and I was lucky enough to get one of the spots in the wine club! The view here is stunning. It was a little windy and chilly but I imagine how wonderful it would be later in spring to sit on the patio and drink wine. If I'm ever in the area again I will be returning.
