Booking was good. Bear cabin was clean as couldve been expected from any hotel. One problem....Bed Bugs!!!! Infested with them. We recieved several bites. First night we thought it couldve been red bugs or some other insect bc we had been in the woods earlier that day. Nxt day more and the day we left i woke up with more bites and went to looking even harder in the sheets and bed. Found a adult one on the back side of my spouses pillow! HORRIFIED! We took pictures and video and notified owners and emailed pics to them. They said theyve never had it happen before. Nice people. Assured me that exterminator was coming the following thursday to handle situation and let me know. (Never did) I still have marks on me that havent faded away yet. Facial 🤢 Thankful i sustained most of the bites and not my babies. We spent $$$ on poisons and extermination etc for our vehicle and clothes and bags etc. Threw alot away. Lots couldnt be salvaged and we was not taking the risk of bringing them into our home. Horrible process. Thankful we found the bugs and realized it was bed bugs before we entered our house. Never did we ask for a refund or money for all we spent on poisons etc or loss of some valueables but it was never offered either. I pray nothing like this ever happens to someone else on vacation bc its horrible. I think i have a little bed bug ptsd now lol. Worried about every bite i get. Next time i ask my spouse did he check for bed bugs when we first get to a hotel i bet he will. ...

I absolutely love this place. We stayed here for two nights over the weekend. The cabins are easy to get to write off the main highway close to Mena. There is a steep grade climb up to the cabins, no issues for a car or truck. All of the cabins have a view. We stayed at the honeymooners cabin number three in the view from the screened in porch was amazing. The porch is where we spent most of our time. We used the Jacuzzi tub in the living room for a good hour of soak time before bed. The queen bed was comfortable for two people. Cabin was clean and spacious enough for us, And had everything we needed including a small refrigerator microwave toaster oven sink. Good size shower in the bathroom. We stayed in cabin 3, Honeymooners. The interior of the cabin is all wood but in really good condition and there was no smell of smoke. Good communications by text we never have to actually see anyone. Looking forward to...

The cabin was nice and very well cared for. Only down fall I have with the stay was the fact that I booked and paid for a certain cabin 5 days prior to our stay. An hour before arriving at the cabin I was called to inform me that they moved us to a different cabin cause there was another couple that was going to be staying for a longer period than us and she couldn't tell them no... Due to them spending more money they moved us and let the couple stay in the cabin I had picked for my son's 9th birthday get-a-way. I was not offered any kind of discount or upgraded cabin for them not holding up their part on the reservations I had made. So just a heads up they will accommodate the higher payer. Due to this event all of our future trips to Mena will be spent in other cabins...

We are walk-ins, we're lucky they have an available cabin for us. For nature lovers like us. We do highly recommend them. The owner is friendly. They take care of you extra. The place got cool perks. You can walk around. The property if you like to wood lark. And each cabin has balcony. We stayed in the bear and in the deer run cabins. They are kinda the same feature. They can house a family of 5 with 1 bath, one queen and a bunk bed. It's fully furnished so you can bring food to prep. Also they got an amazing bone fire area. Where you can see the mountains. It is nice during night time, lots of stars cause there are no city lights.

We were hoping to stay at Queen Wilamina Lodge but they were full and we stumbled upon the website for Mena Mountaintop Cabins. We stayed in cabin 3 and the views from the screened in porch were spectacular. The cabin was very clean and updated and we slept comfortably! We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the back porch and loved watching the hummingbirds right outside the cabin. I can’t say enough about the view! You won’t go wrong staying here for a night or longer!
