We just completed our stay at Aravada Springs yesterday after staying for 4 days. The cabins were amazing! They had a small air conditioner which was great for sleeping and enough room for my husband, my kids and I to sleep comfortably. The natural spring was really refreshing during the hot days and the little pool toys that were available for use were perfect for the kids. We were able to have a campfire in the pits provided, had access to a BBQ grill and ice for our coolers. Victoria was our camp host and was SO kind the whole time we were there. She was available when needed and had all the answers to our questions. She was so accommodating. We were able to watch a family movie in the Rock Lodge with the provided DVD's and projection equipment as well as play lots of board games together. There is Wifi available, but we preferred not to use too much of it so we could enjoy nature together as a family and with our friends. The newly renovated bathrooms and showers were so so nice and the Razor ATV rentals were so much fun. Honestly, I cant believe the place wasn't packed with people. It is such a nice place to camp and spend time with loved ones. We will absolutely be back again in the near future. Thank you Aravada for providing such a great location for our...
Read moreWe had a wonderful family getaway here in Oct. 2023. We stayed in a deluxe cabin equipped with an AC unit and private bathroom. Although the standard cabin would have been fine for us, it was our first time visiting Aravada so we wanted to be sure we would have everything necessary. The standard cabins have a bathroom/shower house right next to them, we didn’t use them because we had the deluxe cabin. The grounds also have a huge open kitchen available for anyone to use, which we did, and it was a wonderful amenity to have available. We were basically the only ones there the whole weekend besides the groundskeeper. She was nice and very welcoming. We love a nice camp fire, and it doesn’t say much about firewood or camp fires on the website, but they did have a nice stockpile of wood they let us pick from to have our own fire just outside of our cabin. The pond is very clear and very cold, perfect for dipping your feet after adventuring to the nearby sites. This place is bigger than it looks on a map and has panoramic views that are unforgettable. The only downside is the road out to get there is rough with potholes and eroded patches. It makes the journey tough but it is...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting Aravada Springs, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I arrived, I was taken back by how peaceful and beautiful it is out there—truly a hidden desert oasis away from it all. The landscape has this quiet charm that makes you want to slow down and just take it all in.
My daughter absolutely loved feeding the animals at the petting zoo, watching the deer roam freely, playing games and puzzles in the Rock House, swimming in the pool, and taking a horse carriage ride along the trails. It felt like family time, the way it’s meant to be: unplugged, relaxed, and surrounded by nature.
The cabins and grounds were clean and well cared for, and it’s clear that a lot of love and history are tied to the place. It felt safe, welcoming, and tucked away in the best way. I spent time walking around, exploring, and soaking in the sunrise and sunset views. There’s something about the stillness of that desert air that stays with you.
It’s a genuinely beautiful and calm atmosphere, and I’m already looking forward to returning and making it a tradition for years to come. Thank YOU, Aravada Springs, for having me...
