Sunset Ridge Campground — Hotel in Middleton

We found this awesome campground by mistake. After purchasing 5 different 2nd homes, and never really enjoying any of them, we decided it was time for, as I call it "a tiny camper house". We rented a cabin at sunset ridge for a coup!e nights to look around at the area. We had no idea how in love we would be right at Sunset Ridge. It is quiet, beautiful, clean....and I can't express just how clean!! It is dog friendly.It has everything an outdoorsman would want and while the hunting and fishing is going on ,the grounds has trails, a pool and its just perfect! We bought a camper over memorial day weekend and parked it, we could only stay 2 days but have now returned for a 12 day stay with our 2 dogs. Everytime we come back I love it more. Amazing place! Case and Sherri are awesome people! They are kind and always looking out for their residents! We checked into a cabin at about 11pm and Case met us and took us to our beautiful cabin! We were originally going to stay there for a week, but Case worked with us and we ended up staying the whole month for a very good price ! The campground is always quiet and peaceful! Case keeps the bathroom/shower house impeccably clean at all times! We walked the woods behind the campground and made it to the lake which was beautiful also. My wife and I stayed here with Mike Case for 10 months while I was working in Lavonia,Ga. This campground was Amazing. Clean and very well kept . Bathhouse cleaned daily . Pool kept extremely clean. Nice large sites . Entire facility well manacured. Great water pressure. Sits right on Lake Russell just outside Elberton,Ga only 1 mile from a really nice boat ramp. Wild Turkeys in your back yard to watch. Extremely Safe for anyone to camp and pet friendly. Really nice Cabins available also. I parked a 42' fifth wheel with ease and had plenty of room for 2 vehicles on site. Mike and his wife Sheri are very personable and a blast to visit with.
