Everyone was friendly, nobody messed with anything, I never felt uncomfortable as a single female & the cabin itself was perfect. It came with a full size bed, micro & fridge along with a 2 burner electric cook top. Had 1 window unit I kept on 71 along with the fan & my pedestal fan (just because I have to feel the air) & I slept comfy. Cabins are quiet the only noise you here is the train occasionally. When I first arrived my cabins smoke detector was chirping but it was to high to reach & late at night so I texted & he immediately responded & moved me with no issues. It’s in the middle of nowhere the only thing close is a liquor store lol so I had to make sure I did everything before going home. It’s pet friendly, my dog stayed with me & she enjoyed walking around the park & up & down lease road. The hot water is HOT I could barely turn it on in shower. I had no issues my entire stay. Bed slept great, appreciated the closet with the lengthy stay. WiFi worked great no issues. I didn’t use the laundry but saw people constantly in there. The view at sunset is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed my stay & would stay again. It does have a sewer smell outside but it doesn’t smell inside cabin at all. The pics & bad review of the cabin with all the junk has been cleaned up, they was in the process of moving out & remodeling some so it didn’t bother me & I was in the cabin directly next to it. I truly have 0 complaints & would absolutely stay again in a pinch. I only moved to be closer in town & have an actual apt with space.

Love love LOVE this place except for one thing. Love that it is located outside of town, so you can see the stars at night, saw quail, rabbits, lizards, etc. rooms are fun, rustic without roughing it. Staff, that is the one problem, met most of them, manager lady is super nice and took care of any questions we had, Thomas, saw him all the time, super friendly and a wealth of knowledge, but the bad egg is the housekeeper, apparently she only speaks Spanish. I guess since I am white-completed she didn’t think I could hear/understand her phone conversation. She talked poorly about the guest, the owners, and the rest of the staff, was probably a 30 minute phone call of just negativity. I say throw that one out and start over, actually if you throw that one out, you wouldn’t miss her because she sat in laundry room for 30 minutes on the phone and didn’t even fold 3 towels. She never greeted a guest or even smiled. No hospitality oriented.

1 star due to… 1. Homemade junkyard reeking of sewage. 2. Toilet did not flush 3. Something brown smeared ALL over the bathroom door. 4. Kitchen table outside and laying sideways against the walls with a mop laying on it. 5. Several windows without a curtain and everyone could see in. The one curtain had a broken support but we found a nail to lay the rod on. 6. Definitely more than 10 flies inside & no fly swatter. Our original room was better but the bed bottomed out when we sat down. So, we called and asked for a room with a better bed. Can’t blame the man I guess. That’s what he definitely did! The bed was a bit better in the new room but no support on the edge and my husband almost fell off several times. (Full size bed). We had stayed here only a year ago and couldn’t wait to go back. Never again. I guess getting a refund would be out of the question.

Right off the bat....I want to state that the actual cabin itself was very clean, had 2 beds that were comfy, adequate bathroom with toilet/wash basin/shower, kitchenette with toaster, 2 ring electric burner plate, very small microwave and a decent apt. sized fridge.... the problem is not necessarily the interior of the cabin it's just the construction of the cabin and where it's located.... the walls are paper thin because I was able to listen to the conversations of the couple that were next door and their little cabin is separated by at least 10 ft...also at night when we were about to go to bed it sounded like a train was going right through our room....that wasn't the train it was just the traffic on Interstate 20....I imagine it's only about 25 to 30 yards from the cabins....it vibrated thru our cabin non stop....it was unbearable could not fall asleep wound up leaving early early the following morning... also contrary to the pictures and the description.... this is not necessarily an RV cabin park for tourists.....it's basically an RV cabin park for the Oil Workers and I think they're in lies the problem....it doesn't have to be nice or well appointed or have better quality cabins because it's there for a very needy audience and that's Oil Workers that are looking for a place while they work in the adjoining oilfields.... I write this review not necessarily to say that you shouldn't stay there but just to be forewarned that if you're looking for a nice place as a tourist passing through you might want to think about licking someplace else and I think this basically applies on most of the oil towns from Pecos thru...

We liked the idea of the cabin when seen in pictures but when we arrived we noticed there were a lot of flaws that led us to choose to leave and not extend our stay. The sheets on the bed were not clean and had a few stains including one on one of the the pillow cases. I had brought my own sheets and bedding anyways but for someone who wasn’t traveling with these things it could have caused issues. The water was constantly dripping in both of the sinks. The toilet was hard to flush. The floor boards near the shower were old and felt like they might cave in. The shower also felt like with the wrong step it would cave in. I had to clean the shower before using it as there was hair and dirt in it. The front door to the cabin also does not fit right resulting in a crack where you can see the outside and bugs can get through. We opened a window and there was a dead lizard in it. We picked this location because of the cost and the kitchenette area along with free laundry. We went and tried to do laundry but many machines were broken or seemed dirty so we ended up going to the laundry mat. You get what you pay for. This is a cheap spot and I honestly felt like I was getting bit by bugs the whole...
