We are empty nesters and still fairly new to camping. (spending the kid’s inheritance, lol) We only live 40 minutes away and look forward to many more visits at Lincoln West KOA, with our kids and grandkids.

This is our first visit, celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary with a 3-day weekend. We found this AMAZING facility to be the most perfect in-between spot from our adult kids for gathering as a family. With a cabin located right next to our favorite campsite, I envision many more memorable camping trips planned and new traditions created.

We didn’t know we’d be in for such a wonderful celebration though, as Lincoln West KOA was also celebrating a big anniversary, ONE YEAR in business! Huge congratulations to Alyssa, Tammy, Abby and all the other great players, who clearly have put their heart and souls into making this such a warm, welcoming, fun, safe and family friendly environment!

They had a bubble machine, candy bar bingo, ice cream truck, all kinds of yard games on the green space, cupcakes, beverages, music and karaoke. The DJ stayed well past the posted time because many people remained and having a good time. My husband and I even met an elderly couple from Shreveport, LA who knew my uncle! Talk about a small world!

We had an incredible stay at the Lincoln West KOA Holiday in Nebraska! This brand-new campground is hands down one of the best we've visited. Unlike many KOAs, the facilities here are modern, fresh, and well-maintained. You won’t find it overrun with long-term tenants or neglected amenities.

The list of perks is fantastic—brand new pool and spa, a fully fenced dog park, and a wonderful children’s playground, just to name a few. The campsites are well-spaced, offering plenty of room so you never feel too close to your neighbor. We booked a site with a concrete patio and oversized fire pit, which was a great touch for relaxing evenings.

What truly sets this KOA apart is the personal touch from the owner and her family. They are often found working the front office, and their involvement shows in the top-notch service and care they provide. When we had mechanical issues with our RV and needed to adjust our dates with little notice, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us, without any penalty. It's rare to experience such old-school hospitality, and it was refreshing!

The location is perfect—centrally located between Seward and Lincoln, making it an easy and convenient stay if you're visiting the area. We attended a Cornhuskers game, and the commute was a breeze.

This KOA exceeded all of our expectations! The pool was absolutely amazing—clean, refreshing, and a great way to relax after a day of exploring. The campsites were spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of space and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

What really stood out were the bathrooms—they were some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping everything in top shape.

There was also a surprisingly large variety of snacks available, which was perfect for late-night cravings or quick treats for the kids.

But the real highlight was the owner. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel like part of the family. It’s rare to come across someone who cares so much about their guests’ experience.
