This was a business trip whereby I had five clients who also needed accommodations. Having called ahead only to find no hotel motel capable of accommodating all of us the owner William was confident that he could, in the worst case senecio still handle the crowd. lol We arrived much later than expected and he did in fact have the rooms available. Some first-rate customer service for sure. And a great value. This motel I like to classify as what I call a Route 66 Motel, layout common to those 1940’s, 1950’s motels along the highway. The rooms are dated but remarkably clean. And I mean remarkable! Although dated it was not worn out by any means. Everything was clean and functioned as it should. Almost like stepping back to the day it was built. Curb appeal was spectacular, not a sign of the interior 50’s decor from the outside. Very clean and modern grounds. Ample parking conveniently within feet of the room. It’s in a small lakeside residential tract, very quiet, comfortable and safe as far as I could tell. And once again the customer service was great, friendly, accommodating and a great value. I would recommend this to anyone from a single business traveler to a family of six or seven or a couple looking for a romantic get away. Restaurants, stores and local businesses are within walking distance as is the lake (about 25 yards or so). William I appreciate your service and look forward to returning with the wife and taking in a bit more of the town/lake as a vacation and not a business venture. I should mention they have separate two person rooms and a whole house/cabin adjacent to the motel proper both too well maintained and also a...
Read moreRoom was absolutely not clean! Stains on toilet seat and overall room had not been cleaned responsibly. The paper towel was black after wiping down tables and bathroom floor. All surfaces were disgusting, linens were old and wore to the point I bought my own the second night. Owner was friendly but did a few questionable things during our stay ( we were sitting on the porch adjusting our coolers and he approached sparking conversation and ultimately opened the screen door shutting a light off on the inside and said that switch was bad and he has to fix it. I let it go just because I didn’t want an issue but I felt intruded on. It’s almost like he didn’t want us leaving lights on which I get but we were using the light. We nicknamed him Comet Man because he walks around with it in his hand and as a matter of fact walked from our unit when we arrived with it in his hands but after the fact we realized our room didn’t smell like anything but funk No comet was used. As we left he was walking in the middle of the road comet in hand and a dog biting...
Read moreThis place is a little gem in the rough. I thought this place was very clean and the owner is a super guy who wants people to have a nice stay. Each of the 4 units have 2 separate bedrooms. A fully functioning Kitchenette, coffee maker, fridge, microwave and even a toaster in my unit. Each unit has a pullout couch also...and if you love to fish the town of Prescott has set up a boardwalk around part of the lake to fish off from or to just sit and that is within walking distance from this motel. And another great thing about this place is there is not one whirlpool to listen to all hours of the night like the fancy motels..... its a great place to just kick back...I had a very nice stay with zero complaints about anything.... and look forward to...
