West Bay Resort — Hotel in Minnewaukan

we stayed in the bear cabin, very secluded. we enjoyed the camp ground. jim and diane are great, very nice, prompt and caring. diane drove around a personally warned everyone of a high wind storm that was coming in. the rates were comparable to everyone else on the lake. the cabin had everything you need, we did not have to bring any cooking supplies. we were there 5 nights. the fishing was good on Pelican Lake other than that we struggled, we had to fight the wind and since we have a small 16 foot boat it made it tough. so keep that in mind. Jim has some live bait on hand (leaches and worms) otherwise it's 15 miles into devils lake so be prepared.
