Travelodge by Wyndham Morrill — Hotel in Mitchell

I do not normally give budget hotels 5 stars because face it, there are usually reasons they are budget hotels. We took a chance and stayed in this one because there were no rooms at the hotel we would normally stay. At arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see Caleb at the front desk wearing a mask. He was exceptionally nice and very helpful. The room was entered from the outside which we really appreciated because other guests were not wearing mask. Our room was spotless and the beds while firm were comfortable. I do not know why some of the reviews mention breakfast because there is none but you can order from the restaurant in front of the hotel online and pick up. I only stayed one night, and it was fine. I felt safe, there's a cute retro diner right on the same lot, the room was clean and the grounds looked kept and fresh. For the location and price, I would totally stay there again. As for why 4 stars, I guess because it's really just a little 3-star place, but I couldn't come up with good reasons to not give it 4 stars. There was nothing wrong with it, although there's no continental breakfast, and the bed was fine but not luxurious (it only had a sheet, no bedspread or comforter, but it wasn't uncomfortable, and there was a blanket on a shelf in the room). Although the hotel itself was very clean and it was wonderful to have the diner in front of the hotel, I was extremely disappointed that when I booked, my reservation that printed said "Double Room" slept up to 3. When we arrived, we had one-double bed and a chair w/ottoman. I called the front desk and was informed that's what it meant, one double bed. I was offered a switch to a double, but for additional cost. I asked where a third person was to sleep and the response was "The chair" which did not recline. At check out, I showed my print off, was told I should've been offered a change in rooms at the same price or a rollaway...I let them make a copy and expected a call from the manager which...
