November 2025 - Nice small campground. Not much of a view of the water. Certainly not "water front". All the water photos erroneously placed here are NOT what you see from the campground!!!! The whole surrounding area makes up for that though. Weather its Valley of Fire or Redstone day use, and the zillions of unnamed extraordinary views, this campground is right there! Theres a couple of toilets here. And a camp host, except Im here during the government shutdown so noone is looking out for the place. Its very quiet except for cars going up and down the road. There are dumpsters at the entrance. I havent seen any water yet. Most of the sites are extremely small. The parking spot is barely big enough for a car. But a few are larger. There's no way you're getting your giant trailer on wheels anywhere in here. No generators!!!! Yay! Most of the sites have some shade. All have a picnic table and fire rings. Good spot just to camp for the night to recharge for exploring. And it is literally right around the corner to a gas station/ convenience store (with limited hours.) You can ONLY reserve sites with recreation.gov. No cash payments. And theres barely any cell service here. So keep that in mind. I just bought the Nevada annual pass, so Ill need to camp...

Read moreA peaceful yet not isolated camping experience. There's bathrooms with a toilet and sink but showers would be great. We used baby wipes instead. Toilet paper was stocked until the last few hours of our stay. If you go, pack a couple rolls just in case. There's a mini Mart near the entrance that has ice. Would have loved to be directly on the water , but that's not possible due to the lake receding. It is a 3 minute drive down there. Probably 15 minutes walk. The sites have fire pits so that was nice at night. Best part was the fresh air while we slept, I definitely...
