Had just completed a few nights at Tree House Point with the folks of Tree house masters. AMAZING. I thought to try another treehouse being that my first experience was so awesome. I found Mountain View's Tree House Joint advertisement and I was about 10 minutes away. The websites rather difficult to negotiate on a phone with my old eyes so I thought to just drive up. BIG MISTAKE. As I came up the driveway there were 3 people outside. I was greeted by a most friendly dog and a disinterested pig :). I knew they'd seen me drive up but when no one came to that side of the house I began to walk to the side where I'd seen the people. The host (I am assuming) gave me a very stern look as she hastily approached motioning me to go back where I'd come from and proceeded to tell me this was private property and I was trespassing. To make sure I understood my unwelcome, she made that statement 3 times in the 20 seconds of conversation we had. Further I was informed Reservations are needed to be on the property. As I got began to get back on my motorcycle she asked if I needed a room 'tonight'. I thought that was a nice attempt at saving a few hundred bucks from going into someone else's pocket but with the welcome I'd received if the room was free I'd not stayed. I've no time for reactionary people. Especially when the place is billed as peaceful, inclusive and very laid back. Roll on up to Tree House Point even without an invitation or reservation You Will Be Welcome and the first thing you'll receive is a smile from whoever greets you.

If I could give negative stars I'd give this one a -3. No indication on the website you will not be welcome to drive up and inquire, yet your treated as if you should know better. I've never been to a hotel (Tree house or otherwise) that you couldn't walk into and talk with them about a room. The only reason I wouldn't give it a -5 is that she at least asked (far too late) if I'd needed a room.

I must say, I've never been so rudely treated in all...

To anyone reading, take this at face value. This is an honest review of our experience. I also want to preface this review with an apology: I wanted to love this place, I really, really did. Tracy herself was so nice and lovely, and I even emailed her and discussed my concerns. However, for what we paid, we were given uncomfortable beds, a small kitchenette inside a barn, and a port-o-potty during a global pandemic- I feel like it’s necessary to offer up this review to assist those who might feel similarly misled or uninformed. I booked a treehouse for my partner and I for a one night getaway from the city. The reviews are all phenomenal as you can see and I had thought I was prepared for what our stay would be like based on the information I could find, but I learned AFTER our stay the majority of reviews were for the big “Pot Leaf” treehouse. We stayed in the 420 treehouse, and on the website the reviews don’t change based on your selection, so all the reviews were not relative to the treehouse we booked. (I’ve attached photos for better explanation. I sent these to Tracy and she agreed they are misleading and promised to amend this.) However, this doesn’t negate the fact that we paid over $250 with taxes for one night in a treehouse and an upgrade to use the hot tub. I will say that the hot tub was nice, and there were some pretty views of the mountains. Tracy’s sweet dog Poncho and pig were also helpful additions to improve the experience, however, I’m really sorry, Tracy. I know you run this all on your own and mean well - plenty of people love this place- I’m just disappointed because it didn’t live up to our expectations. If we had wanted to use the main house’s bathroom, it would’ve put our bill at or around $300- at which point, we should’ve just...

I’m writing this after my partner and I have come home from our THIRD stay at the treehouse’s THIS YEAR. Simply put, after the first visit Tracy became a friend to us. I had been following her page and fawning over the day I would get the chance to go, so when we got the days off we jumped at our chance and have done the same almost ever occasion since!

Tracy is truly so accommodating she thinks of everything and makes sure everything is perfect before you arrive with everything you’ll need for your stay (including a fresh clean bong!). Her property is AMAZING (and still constantly improving 🤯), you can sit by the fire with some s’mores, hang out in the hot tub, lounge in the grassy yard, check out the river/hiking spots near by, meet all the animals, the list is truly endless... and if you ever want to have a proper wake and bake sesh... she’s the one you’re gonna wanna go to! 😉 She smokes some of the best weed and has some of the most crazy and cool up-incoming pieces, too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ASKING HER ABOUT THEM AND RENTING OUT YOUR VERY OWN PUFF CO WHEN YOU GO! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! Her laugh is infectious and if you have the privilege of picking her brain in conversation I highly recommend it. This experience is truly what you make it but she sets you up with everything you need for a relaxing, mystical getaway in the woods! I recommend this place to everyone! ITS THE TOTAL PACKAGE! You’ll never...
