Sites are located right next to the river and you can hear the soothing sounds and easily walk down to the water to soak your tired feet after hiking one of the nearby trails. There is a road right next to the campsites which can be busy when folks are driving up to get to the trailheads for hikes. The campground is clean and well maintained by the campground host.
We stayed at site #1 which offers more privacy than most of the other sites. All sites are FCFS. The pay station and camp host are located 2 miles away at Troublesome Creek campground.
