It is located extremely close to the public boat launch at catfish Lake on Louisiana Highway 1. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable. Rooms have small microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Cable TV is also provided. Room this day was $90. We found these accommodations to be excellent for overnight stay between two days of fishing. There is ample parking for boats and trailers and electrical supply for battery recharging. There's also a wonderful restaurant across the street, Rosie's cafe, that serves great meals and has friendly service at reasonable prices. They can even prepare a sack lunch as you have breakfast before your fishing departure so that you will have lunch with you on the boat. Highly, recommended particularly for travelers interested in recreational fishing...
Read moreThis is a great place for the price. Friendly people. 3 years ago my son and I stayed in a cabin, this year a buddy and I stayed in a room; the photos are from that first visit. Although I prefer the cabins, the room was nice; however; given the Covid situation in Louisiana, I did not see any Covid precautions or extra cleaning practices being taken there (the one star off overall). It was a truly nice accompaniment to the Inn, and worth getting up early for. It was gone or bought out on my last visit and they did not serve breakfast. That was a true...
Read moreWatch out! Very dangerous construction site! Large holes on sidewalk & other walkways. Covered with plywood, but not secure & very flimsy. At check in, they were informed that one member of our party was handicapped, and they put us on the side where all of the construction was. How dumb was that. That was a lawsuit waiting to happen. Also, charge $25 per night plus $200 refundable deposit for pets. This is outrageous & crazy since they only accept credit cards and could charge for any damage after inspection at end of stay. Before checkout they come to room to inspect everything, including counting towels & linens! They don't want you with them when they do this so they could possibly charge for things that are not true. We stood at door to make sure this didn't happen. This kind of treatment is an insult to...
