Sunset Hills Bison Ranch — Hotel in Montezuma

Sunset Hills Bison Ranch is an amazing and unique experience. There is a cabin and two Conestoga wagons for your glamping pleasure. The wagons have a king bed and a set of bunk beds along with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker & table w/2 chairs. There are fire rings for campfires and also a grill. The views are incredible … you can watch the bison in the pasture while sitting at the new fire pit area. There is a bubble tank and different games to keep the kids entertained, as well as a large livestock tank for swimming. There is a modern bath house with a huge shower. We took our two youngest grandsons, 6 & 10, the last two summers and we all loved our little get away. It is very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. You can get bison meat at their shop, purchase firewood & gifts. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable! ...

Our stay in the covered wagon was truly exceptional. After a hectic work trip that turned into a bit of a whirlwind, this experience provided the perfect, unexpected retreat I didn’t realize I needed.

The bison were a majestic sight, and the friendly horses and cats added to the charm. The hosts generously provided groceries for us to make delicious bison burgers, which were absolutely incredible. The wagon’s interior was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable, giving me the best sleep I’ve had in a long time.
