We stayed 3 nights in a converted horse barn at Canyonlands Lodging. There are 3 "cabins" inside the barn called Silver (as in Hi-yo Silver), Trigger (Roy Roger's horse) and Duke (John Wayne).||||We stayed in Silver. It was rustic, and had 2 rooms, a queen bed, 2 TV's, no A/C, but 2 ceiling fans, microwave, small fridge with a freezer (but it didn't freeze things), small coffee (pot) maker, sofa, table and 2 chairs and a bench, and a gas heater.||||The bathroom had a shower that drained through the wooden slats on the floor.||||In the common area there were 4 picnic tables, a full kitchen. and a washer and dryer. There was also a deep sink near the entrance. The common area could be used to handle the dining requirements of a large group.||||Outside there was a fire pit and a gas grill.||||There was a padlock and key for the door, but no way (that I could see) to attach it to anything.||||We enjoyed the place so much, that we extended our visit by 2 days. The location is central to the 3 national parks in the area, along with a national monument and other scenic roads.||||There was a book full of information about the surrounding area, and Jerry (one of the owners) came by and offered advice on different roads to try in the area.||||At twilight, we saw 4 deer wandering the grounds right outside the barn.||||They give you good information on how to find Canyonlands Lodging along the highway before you arrive, and you don't have to check in anywhere before reaching your accommodation.||||There were a few minor problems -- the lock for the door , and the fridge freezer (already mentioned), and getting the gas heater turned on one chilly day.||||We would gladly...

This review is long over due, i’ve been busy since i’ve gotten back from our weekend here. My family stay at the, Ranch Mountain Cabin. We spent 3 nights here. The area is nice and quiet. Plenty of fresh air. We were also glad that we could bring our two huskies along, for an additional charge. They loved the cooler temperatures at night, in July.

The cabin was good enough for 5 adults. The loft area was a lot shorter than i thought it would’ve been. It’s about 3 ft high, so we had to crawl around up here.😂😂 which was fine, the area would be great for kids. There was an AC, which seems like it needs to replaced, it just blows out warm air. But that didn’t matter, because during the warm hours, we were outside in the shade. Even in July you just need to open the windows at night to cool the entire cabin down.

The place was clean, but not to our standard of clean for a chain. We just clean a bit more, to our liking. The pots and pans are useable, they also need to be replaced, as well.

They did have everything we needed. The hosts did have a booklet of all the house rules. As well as information on the two towns near by.

This was my first “house rental” booking and the experience was great! communication with the host was clear and concise. I figured since the host lived in the area we would be checked on, we weren’t. And that was great! that put me at ease. I can’t wait to book this same cabin or one of the...

Very nice place to stay with my wife and our two pups. We stayed in the white pine cabin for 5 nights. It’s perfect for a small family or a couple. We really appreciate allowing pets as we do not travel without ours and a big factor where we stay. The cabin had one bedroom and a small loft with ladder to get to the loft. The loft would be Ideal for kids. The cabin has just about everything you need for a stay, basic necessities, kitchen w/basic supplies, pots/pans, silverware, microwave. No a/c but with the windows open you don’t really need it. No dishwasher or washer / dryer BUT it appears they have to have water hauled in by truck so it makes sense. We enjoyed the option of being able to take our dogs for our morning and evening walks around the property. The property’s grounds are clean/maintained with a playground and covered pavilion with built in kitchen and bbq for group events. The property is quiet with great views, secluded but easy access the highway. The only recommendation we have is to add a Roku or a dvd player with wifi w/apps so people can watch Netflix, Roku, etc. during the evening and morning before/after the daily adventures. No biggie for us, we just bought cheap Roku at Walmart and it worked great with the cabins wifi. We will be back again this year with our Jeep and want check out a...

My husband and I stayed in a cabin here. The bed was a simple mattress set on a platform. Everything seemed ok until we woke in the morning to discover a mouse nest full of droppings in the corner inches from where my head had been all night. This prompted a closer look at the entire cabin which was full of mouse droppings. Owners insist they do clean cabins properly. Obviously not. Discussing. Don’t stay here.
