The Yard — Hotel in Moorhead

I got married to my best friend on June 8th, 2019 at The Yard. When we visited the venue for the first time, we fell in love instantly. It was the only venue we looked at because we were so absolutely certain this was the place to celebrate our love. Everything about this space is a straight dream come to life. Cliff Enns, the host, has a heart that is unmatched. His sole intention is to meet you exactly where you are and bring your vision to life, which he most defiantly achieved for us. He is SO accommodating with everyone involved and makes it extremely easy for vendors, guests, and family to enjoy the day - stress free. The Venue itself has the most romantic and love filled vibes. You can feel the love the moment you step foot on sight. The barn is PERFECT for a beautiful dance floor, dessert table, head table, and DJ. There are endless options for setting up your big day exactly as you want it. We decided to rent out the on-site bed and breakfast for the bridal party to stay the night before and it was so perfect. It was a great way for all of us to bond together and share in memories. The groomsmen also got to use this space to get ready the day of so that they could cool off and stay hidden! Cliff also has a incredible bridal suite that is full of mirrors and chair, perfect for getting the girls ready on the day of. It is like a girls beauty room on a bucket list kind of level. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue and perfect day. The weather was a little bit crazy on our day of but with the barn being so beautiful I had no doubt in my heart that even if we would have had to move things inside..we would have made it work and it would still be beautiful. Luckily, God had other plans. The storm came in hot but as soon as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle..but the clouds parted. LITERALLY parted and went AROUND us. I am so grateful for this venue and would highly recommend it to any and all brides that are looking for a stress free, love filled, magical day. Having our wedding at the Yard was a dream come true. Cliff takes his weddings and events PERSONAL puts his WHOLE SELF into your day. It was amazing to see it all come together- to seeing the set up for the ceremony and reception..to seeing the personalized sign at the end of the driveway - He puts the LITTLE details into the work that make it personal and extra special!!! This is a GEM of a spot and we feel honored to be the first couple to dance in the barn! The entire spot captures, rustic, natures natural beauty, yet ELEGANT all at the same time. We created so many memories throughout the entire planning process: from our first visit to tour, to the wedding rehearsal, to me and the girls getting ready on site to our ceremony and reception. Our guests had nothing but POSITIVE feedback and all commented about how much fun they were having as well as how different and beautiful it is out there. ALSO - BRIDES - the photos. Cliff is amazing to work with. He makes himself available to you all day for whatever you may need and helps. He even makes a sign with your names on it for guests to see when they pull up. Unfortunately, we had some rain on our day, but he had everything ready for that scenario. Everything was set and ready for us. The work he has done to make it a great experience (from when we toured over a year ago) looks great. I almost wish I didn't get married their yet just to see how much more he is making it to be even more beautiful then it is. He keeps the lines of communication open throughout the whole process. He sent me a last minute new seating arrangement that worked great for us and I am glad we changed. It is an easy venue for days like mine when rain changes the plans, but the transition was easy.
