This camp is life changing. From skeet, to the overnight trips, to the orange chicken. This place is a 15 out of 10. I've been for two years and haven't been kicked out yet, so way to go me! The staff are wonderful and extremely forgiving. Seth in particular. We took a few to many pictures in the cabin (which is not allowed) and Seth was super chill about it when he was correcting us. Anders was freaking scary however. Also huge shout out to Benny! That man is the goat. And that's capital GOAT. the chapel is wonderful. The taxidermy moose heads make me feel so much closer to Jesus. On a less positive note. Most of the staff has a strange obsession with moxie. I don't get it. That stuff is not good. And they fold their burritos is squares! Like who does that?!?! Ik its a bunch of a white people but that dosnt excuse it. Back to the good stuff. The songs we sung at camp were always fun. Wether is was Days of Elijah or I Want it That Way. Camp will forever be one of the highlights of my teenage years! I'm going for my last year this summer and I know it will be superb. Maybe I should take the boat out for a spin because I'm not coming back. (Just kidding Seth I'll be good I swear 😁) All in all campnis a blast. It is worth every penny. (Spend some pennies on bugs pray tho....they make great flamethrowers) That's all 🫡 🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎🫎

Read moreI've just returned home from a 4 day Father/Son retreat at the Moose River Outpost in Jackman. This is a fantastic camp. The staff are great Leaders. The scenery is surreal with a lot to explore. Our trip was filled with rafting, canoeing, kayaking, paintball and a LOT of great homemade food. Coffee was bottomless. Clean and modern (yet rustic) cabins with hot showers. A few well placed Adirondack chairs for mentally checking out. 3 mile lake parameter trail. It really doesn't get any better than this. Plenty of ways to break up the drive. Check out the L.C. Bates Museum on Rt 201 or dine on a cantilevered deck over the Skowhegan Falls at the Old Mill Pub. Enjoy! Thanks for...
Read moreThis camp was everything I could ask for, good food, fun activities like archery and mountain biking, a 7,000-acre property, a beautiful lake, kind people, and most important of all, its Maine purpose is to help teenagers grow in their walk with Jesus Christ. At this camp I felt very relieved that I wasn’t the only Christian my age. I grew much closer to the lord through the countless bible studies, worship sessions, and sermons that this camp had. I had never felt closer to God then when I was at that camp for my first time (tell me one place where you could be roasting smore’s and be talking about God at the exact same time!). This camp was truly...
