My husband and I stayed here in Sept. 2016. It has easy access to I64 and there is a Subway and gas station right next door. Check in was easy and friendly as well as check out. We had room 121. It was quiet and close to the lobby. It had a small microwave, med size fridge, coffee maker, iron and board, hair dryer, flat screen tv and free WiFi. There were plenty of outlets for plugging in chargers or whatever. Our room was large and was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Even the linens were spotless and (not even any dust behind the nightstand) and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom had a shower without walls...it was the whole one side of the bathroom, no tub to or shower stall step to climb over, just built right into the room itself.
Breakfast was amazing: Belgian waffles (both blueberry and regular), biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled egg patties, hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, English muffins, dry cereal, oatmeal with toppings, donuts and breakfast muffins, fresh fruit (pears, apples, oranges, bananas), yogurt, juice, hot chocolate, coffee and tea. It was roomy, had plenty of seating and was very, very clean. The attendant, Casey, was constantly wiping things up and making sure everything was refilled. It was perfect.
I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely...
Read moreThe room and cleanliness were average. It was a nice room and it was a good value for the money we spent. We traveled to that location to help take care of my infant granddaughter while my daughter and son-in-law were part of a wedding party across the street from the hotel. We found out just moments before we were leaving to go to the wedding that the venue did not have a high chair for our Granddaughter. We asked you staff if we could rent one or borrow one from the breakfast area. We even offered to put down a $100 deposit. They told us that was not necessary and allowed us to take the chair with us. We returned the chair about 4 hours later and thanked your staff members profusely. At this location you could improve on the breakfast food and the comfort of the food, but I don’t believe that you can improve on the helpfulness and friendliness of your staff. They were fantastic throughout our stay. Offering to clean the room and asking if there was anything we needed. The staff was outstanding. My wife was a little upset when another guest’s dog came after me when the elevator door opened up and I was holding the baby. The dog’s owner had the dog on a leash and was able to bring the animal under control quickly. However the suddenness of the event caught them off guard and...
Read moreThe service was great, the staff is super friendly and everyone treated us as if we were guests that they were personally hosting in their own homes. The rooms were clean and quiet, although the hallways were messy and ripped up due to remodeling, and also smelled like a fresh coat of lacquer over wallpaper. The A/C worked great, the water temp and pressure was fine. Breakfast was basic but sufficient, and a nice addition for such an affordable stay. Did not use room service so I can't speak for that. They also offer pet-friendly rooms, which is extremely convenient. (I didn't have a pet, but my family members in a neighboring room did bring their black lab) The only draw backs I experienced were that I didn't sleep comfortably either of the two nights I stayed. It wasn't due to noise or temperature, but some combination of the matress and pillows just didn't allow for a sound sleep. The other drawback was that the only functioning ice machine was on the third floor, at the opposite end of the hallway. Location was great for our purpose of visiting - only 10 minutes away from the marina, straight down the road. Overall it was an enjoyable stay, for an incredible steal - only $73 per night for a king room. I would stay again, and I would recommend to someone staying...
