Not only was this the ideal Airbnb for a peaceful, scenic retreat, but it also turned out to be the perfect venue for our wedding. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking, nestled in a serene location that offers the ideal balance of seclusion and accessibility. The house is spacious, impeccably decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay. From the cozy living areas to the well-appointed kitchen, it truly felt like a home away from home. And the views—oh, the views! Every window looked out onto a stunning landscape, whether it was rolling hills or lush gardens. But the magic didn’t stop there. Katie and Steven’s attention to detail and warm hospitality elevated our experience to another level. They were incredibly accommodating, and their passion for hosting and wedding planning truly shines through. The outdoor ceremony space was everything we had dreamed of—an elegant, picture-perfect setting surrounded by nature. The intimate vibe of the venue made it feel personal and unique, and the reception space was just as lovely, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. Instead of passing around gift cards for Christmas, our family decided to find a place to just hang out for a weekend and be together. Price Family Farmstead was perfect!! The home is charming with a delightful blend of antique farmhouse and modern amenities. We were greeted shortly after our arrival by Wayne and Eugenia, who were attentive but not intrusive. My husband was pleasantly surprised to find a plate of his favorite, homemade cookies.

Even though the house is almost 150 years old, it was warm, not drafty, during the very cold January weekend. We enjoyed gathering around the table to play one of the many available board games, after my husband returned from touring the farm and seeing the animals with Wayne. (Too cold for the rest of us!) I was able to watch a deer wander along the edge of the trees in the early morning.

There are so many interesting details throughout the home and I appreciated the small notes of information about the family. The only downside was not having enough time to spend there. We're already trying to coordinate schedules to return for more...

My husband and I got married here! Although they're not listed as a wedding venue, it's hard to believe because of how beautiful this property is - the home and the surrounding land! Steven and his family went ABOVE and beyond to help us out for our wedding weekend. The help began way before we even arrived for our stay, Steven was always available for my questions and there to help with whatever we needed. They helped with both our rehearsal dinner and ceremony and we definitely could not have done it without them! After our weekend there and getting to know them, we feel like they're our family now too! We can't thank them enough for their kindness and helpfulness! We will always treasure our time here and with them and we cannot wait to come back and visit this special spot...
