Tullymore Resort — Hotel in Morton Township

I really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff who were helpful and answered all my questions. Had great little print outs for things to do. It’s a very small area. Not a whole lot is open in the winter. We took a few days and explored the surrounding towns from Cadillac, Grand and Big Rapids. There wasn’t any snow which limits things to do, and it’s still too cold for all the fun spring/summer/fall activities. A few cute stores and markets, breweries and wineries. The 1 bedroom accommodation had space to sleep 8! A pull out couch, a Murphy bed and two queen beds in the room. A full kitchen and one bathroom. There’s laundry at the end of the hall. A good amount of space, maybe not with 8 people and one bathroom though :) everything was decorated nicely, amenities were updated. The light bulbs colors (natural, bright, white) were a little mismatched in every room which was kind of funny. I do wish the resort offered some activities. The pool was a bit cold and I was VERY disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub open in the winter. We stayed with a RCI member paying for the week with an additional $50 paid...

If you enjoy playing decent golf where work is constantly being done on the course while trying to play, including on the tee boxes and on the greens, especially sand and aeration, then this is the place for you. Personally, I believe that most coursework should be done prior to patrons being on the course. But if you think it's okay for work to be done at 11:00 a.m. while trying to tee off, then this is your place. Rude groundskeepers and loud power equipment is what you can expect at St. Ives. If you are participating in one of their weekend tournaments, I'm sure you'll have a great time, but if you are a paying patron during the week in between tournaments, expect work to be done...

Our experience and time here was absolute perfection. Our family (4 rooms total) were clean, staff was very friendly and the room service was phenomenal checking on us and bringing fresh towels/linens to ensure our wedding weekend was perfect. Crystal Lotarski planning our wedding dinner in the Founders room was over the top exceptional from the initial call booking to the evening of dinner.
