Sugar Valley & Hidden Valley Lakes — Hotel in Mound City

Love being here with my family and friends. Lake life is my happy place. Edited to add: I am referring to Sugar Valley Lake in Mound City, Kansas. We still love being at the lake and making memories with our friends and family, BUT there are many on-going issues that NEED to be addressed and a remedy found. Management needs to step up and show up and put some effort in to making the place great for everyone, and stop ignoring the complaints & problems & stop sweeping them under the rug. Stand up & make changes or don't be in a management position. Residents & weekenders both need to clean up their lots, pick up all of thr trash & show some self respect for what is yours. The errogant, people, eho thing rules do not apply to them need to stop using the roads as a race track & be cautious & courteous of other members who also put thier money into the lake community. The roads need repaired and maintained so our vehicles will stop getting tore up, just to get from one place to the other. Most importantly everyone needs to have some respect for each other. It really is a beautiful place. Mostly. There is a lot of theft. Also alot of tweakers in some areas. Multiple lakes. Alot of water front lots and homes. Alot of wooded lots. Some go for cheap cheap and some go for definitely out of my price range [haha]. Rentable camp grounds. Shower house. Clucb house. Beach. 3 entrances. ...
