I absolutely love this place and miss it soo much! I started going there when I was a kid back in 1992. 2010 is the last time I went😭 and it breaks my heart. I've been there many times and I've had some of the best memories there. So much to do. They have a pool and playground and camp fire area. You can take a small home behind the cabins and hike back to pit river and see the beautiful waterfalls. There's a reservoir in front of the cabins, can't swim in it. And by the reservoir there's a track to ride bikes or ATVs. Iron canyon reservoir is about a 20min drive and it's just beautiful and great fishing. If you can I recommend taking a 4-wheeler or dirt bike or some other ATV to drive around all the different trails. Before the damn there's a turn off to deep creek and it's beautiful. On the way there you ride next to the pit river and you'll come up to this beautiful little pond. As a kid it was my dream to move here and live in a 2 story red log cabin. Whenever I need to go to my "happy place" lol, I always go there. It's so peaceful. I've been begging my family for years to please go there. Next year with or without them I'll make it happen. You won't...

They certainly looked their age, and I struggle to see myself...
