Featherville Resort LLC — Hotel in Mountain Home

Extremely disappointed and felt uncomfortable. Ugh..To start with directions took me to where the hotel rooms were but there was no office or notice telling me where to get a key for access? I had to ask someone in one of the rooms to which they directed me two buildings down at the saloon. When I did receive access, I walked into an absolutely filthy, matted carpeted area! I sat down and within 5 minutes 7 flies were buzzing around and two mosquitoes. There was no phone to call for service, not to mention the lack of cellular service in certain spots of the room. I spent the first hour killing the Flies and mosquitoes hoping to have a decent night sleep. As I was killing the Flies on the lamp next to me, enough fumes and dust particles came off that I started sneezing! Once I felt more settled and thought I could sleep, two guests were entering the room next to me to which I heard their entire argument and then their morning sex! Didn't sleep well, it was dirty and I felt uncomfortable. If I hadn't been so tired I would have left that night. The only positive thing I will say which is why I gave them 1 Star is that there were clean towels, the bathroom and furniture seemed to have been wiped. I will NOT stay there again...GROSS! I paid...

Stopped in after a long day of fishing and needed a hot meal... was pleased by the woman who took my order (she seemed quite loving and attentative) but I was entirely displeased by the man helping her.

I've never been served a drink so benignley by a more callous staff member (god forbid, owner) in my entire life.

Get a grip, dude. I'm a paying customer even if for just a pit stop, handing you my $ on your goods, let alone it being over priced.

I even complemented how tasty your garden tomatoes were on the burger after disregarding the amount of rudeness you showed delivering it before I even took a bite.

Will never give them my business again and I'm right...

The food here (burgers, fries, wraps, pies, etc.) arrives at whatever version of leisurely pace the cook adopts for the day (so expect to spend 40 minutes or more here). The portions are generous and the meals are tasty and priced fair. The restaurant is a small establishment with a weathered appearance and old decor; having trinkets dotting the walls along with hand written confirmations of the owner's patriotism. It harbors a real right-wing, survivalist vibe (though the server/cook/busser was not off-putting). Five stars for the good food, good service, and rustic...
