Lokal Chalet — Hotel in Mullica Township

This was a perfect spot a chill Bachelor weekend. Well appointed cabin sleeps 4 adult guys comfortably, 5 if you use the couch! Beds are very comfortable. Or, 4 very cozy couples. 4th bedroom, up a metal ladder, was a bit sketch, we put the young guy up there! The grab bar needs attention as it was loose. The game shed is nice, spent a couple hours in there while grilling. Took a river kayak trip through the pine barrens to Batsto. easy access to hiking and the shore areas too. Kitchen has everything you need, appliances are modern and work well, the induction cooktop was great. At about $600 a night it is pricey. Extra grilling supplies in the basement was a nice find. The grounds need a good bit of TLC, and landscaping!! Even grass cutting/weed whacking prior to our stay would have been good. Junk and construction debris removal is needed. Ice maker did not work. Surfaces in the hot tub were slimy/slippery. Lighting in the main living area is lacking, made late night games difficult. I'm really not complaining as we had a nice time, you'll like it too but for the money we could have spent the week on a beach front home this time of year versus

Lokal Chalet is amazing. Their hospitality flowed through the emails/texts and the stay here was everything I could ever ask for. I didn't want to travel to PA to the poconos to get a cabin-snow experience, so coming to the lokal chalet was so convenient for us since it was about 30 minute drive from where we live in NJ. My boyfriend, myself, and our furry companions arrived on a heavy snow day (I was hoping for snow!) and staying here with beautiful snow views in such a warm chalet was such a relaxing and cozy weekend for us. I love how they're pet friendly but also have special rules in place for us pet parents, which in turn accommodates future guests that doesn't have pets. It's very considerate of them and keeps the Chalet very clean while making sure everybody can enjoy the Chalet with their loved ones! I will 100% return and recommend to anyone who enjoys a calm and relaxing environment. Their sound bar is also out of this world. My wife and I spent a weekend at the Chalet and loved everything about our stay. The property is huge and felt secluded, private, and quiet. The house itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you need for a getaway. The coffee options and bar cart were used frequently during our stay. The Sonos speaker system and wifi synced perfectly with our phones/laptops. This was a great home base to both "work from home" and also enjoy a quick trip to the beach. Between the deck, fire pit and game garage, we imagine this would be a fantastic place to entertain with family and friends - we look forward to returning soon!
