Diamond Oaks Inn — Hotel in Murfreesboro

My husband always wanted to dig for diamonds and we chose this B & B due to the wonderful reviews and proximity to Crater of Diamonds. I am so glad we did! We have stayed at B & B's before, but this one is the best, by far! Buddy and Karen are the most welcoming, sweetest people you would ever want to meet. My husband is in love with Karen's cookies, lol !!! They were awesome. Not only were they the nicest people, but we stayed in The Majestic, and it was just that....majestic! Super clean and quiet. Everything we could have wanted was available to us. I forgot my hair dryer and there was one in the bathroom drawer. They even provided buckets, sifters, shovels (both long and short handled), knee pads and even some boots for diamond mining. Location was less than 1 mile from Crater of Diamonds, very convenient. We absolutely fell in love with the town of Murfreesboro. Everyone at every shop and restaurant we visited were the friendliest! This was my first time to AR and first time at a bed and breakfast! Buddy, the owner was kind from the initial phone conversation to our departure date. This place is now my home away from home. We were greeted with a smile, a tour, and fresh baked cookies. Buddy stayed up late waiting on us to arrive as we were an hour late without calling due to making extra stops. He showed genuine concern like family when we arrived and throughout our stay we were treated with privacy, respect, love, and had an immaculate home to spend our vacation in. I never walk bare feet any where but l did here because the floors, bathrooms, and entire home was so clean. The pillows and bed were soft and comfortable as was the linen and bedding. Best of all the price was the most affordable in town! For everything we received, the price was generous. Unlike other inns in the area there was no minimum of two night stays. The location was conveniently within a couple of miles of the Crater Diamond park. I just love this B&B and you will too. Due to covid the breakfast is similar to a continental breakfast. Diamond Oaks Inn is the most convenient accomodations if you plan to dig for diamonds at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. They even provided my husband with sifting screens and shovel which was very helpful. We stayed in the Embassy suite with our two dogs and it was VERY spacious. It also had a walk out to the nice heated pool. We didn't have time to use it but it's an option. The furniture is antiquish and very dated but comfortable. There was also a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Breakfast is included but be prepared for pop tarts, prepackaged muffins, Jimmy Dean biscuits, and fruit cups. Not my style but it's something. The owners have cookies available all day for free which is nice. I was a bit disappointed that the owners didn't make an attempt to come out and say goodbye when we checked out. We were the only ones there at the time and we were texted to just leave the key.
