Georgia Mountain Cabin — Hotel in Murphy

This is a truly fantastic cabin. Only about 1.5 hours north of Atlanta. We took the whole family and a friend of our oldest son. The cabin is newly redecorated with what looked to be brand new indoor and outdoor furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the gas grill on the porch one night for burgers/hot dogs. The cabin comfortably sleeps 8 with an option for 10 using the sleeper sofa. The basement is completely decked out with a big TV, basketball game, ARCADE MACHINE, and even an AIR HOCKEY table! We used the hot tub each night which worked great. The kids loved the basement bedroom that had bunkbeds. Outdoor neon sign above the hot tub made for some great instagramable photos. Each bedroom had its own TV and we also had a movie night with popcorn. The Master was a peaceful escape upstairs, again with a big TV above the main floor. The master also had its own screened in porch with rocking chairs where we had coffee each morning. Not even 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge for restaurants, stores, fudge, and all those attractions. We have already booked again for the fall. 10/10 would recommend. Booked through PMI North...

Purely ornamental for photo ops - not functional. Cabin was not furnished with even the most basic things needed and we had to drive a long way multiple times and spend top dollar to buy the things we needed like toilet paper paper towel coffee filter lighter for grill scissors cutting board wine opener table (there was not a single table inside or out to sit at to eat a meal) toaster oven etc.. the entire place was not functional for example the sink had some big fancy faucet but the sink itself was a tiny square and the water didn’t even reach the sink it just sprayed everywhere, the oven had no knobs with labels so no way to know the temp, washer did not work, everything down to the flowers in front were just fake plastic. The entire area seems like they tried to turn it into a tourist attraction but there is nothing attractive about that place. The “scenic views” for horseback riding are someone’s backyard with a run down barn in the background....

Cabin was fantastic! Everything was very clean. Equipped with all things needed for a weekend or longer stay. Communication with the owner was great and instructions for everything was clear...
