GoldenVista Cabin — Hotel in Murphy

First, let me start by saying that the host Jason was AMAZING. He kept in communication and made sure we had all the information we needed. The location of the cabin was great. It is only a short 15-20 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. The roads leading to the cabin are paved and winding, but very easy to drive. The cabin itself is beautiful. You can tell that Jason has great taste and has put a lot of thought and effort into making it the absolute perfect place to stay. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Of all the cabins I have previously rented, this one was the most well stocked and well thought out. The view from the back porch is breathtaking. I can't wait to come back when the leaves are changing colors. One evening we accidentally locked ourselves out after coming back from a late dinner. Somehow a previous guest had taken the emergency key in the lockbox and Jason was about an hour away working near Atlanta...He was able to call his housekeeper (who was enjoying her one night off a week) and she graciously came by with her key to let us in! She was a lifesaver, but Jason had no problem offering to make the drive up to let us in himself in case she was unable to. It is now a tradition in our family to take an annual girls trip tin order to take care of ourselves after taking care of everyone and everything else in our families! This cabin is our home away from home. It is our peace when things are hectic and the thought of returning has even gotten my mom through some rough shifts working at the hospital.

This cabin is beautiful and the views are breathtaking, but the memories that can be made there are what truly makes it special. The owners are the absolute best you’ll find; they think of everything and update constantly. They’re involved as much or as little as you want them to be and they are always thinking ahead about what they can do to improve and make the space more enjoyable!

The cabin itself is equipped with just about anything you can think of. It’s welcoming, clean, and yet so cozy. You can do so much or do nothing at all and have the best time. We look forward to our little slice of heaven here on earth and know anyone that makes the decision to stay here will not only be back, but will also know when the mountains come calling, that this is the only place to go. Golden Vista A million dollar view. This property is nestled in the blueridge mountains. A quiet mountain retreat with a million dollar view. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare our own food and then walk a few steps to the back deck and enjoy our supper looking out over the mountains and hearing only the wind in the trees. The beds are very comfortable. The pictures represent this place well… but the view is better in person. This place was very clean.

Golden vista is truly a gift. A gift of silence to sit and gaze on the Mountains that don’t talk back. A gift of rest to not feel the rush and pull of every day life. And the gift of relational health to spend long lazy blocks of time with those who know you the best, and love you the most.
