We picked this place to stay on our trip to the Oregon Coast because they offered tea! (Note, not just the hot drink, but little sandwiches and fruit and finger foods and all sorts of delicious things). We are really glad we stayed. The food was delicious, and the beds were comfortable. We were the only ones staying that day, and it was great! There was a full kitchen for us to use as well.||||One note: The bathroom is at the end of the hall, and I believe that all three rooms use the same bathroom. Since we were the only ones there, that wasn't an issue, but if the inn is full that may make things a bit busier.||||I would definitely recommend stopping by, either for tea if you are passing through, or to stay if you would like to check out Myrtle Creek or the two covered bridges. It's a really pretty, quiet area. Next time, we might stay a couple of days and check out more of the pretty creek area, maybe with a picnic lunch. Plus, our room was really nice and...
Read moreI stayed for a few days recently. Overall the place was adequate but overpriced. || The B&B was clean but very cluttered. The room was large with plenty of room and a minisplit which is good for ventilation but the door didn't lock (though the lock closed in a direction not usually used, the deadbolt is too high to fit into the receptacle so the lock does not work). There was no mini shampoo, conditioner and lotion and the soap bar in the shower was very used and near the end. The hot water lasted at most 1.5 minutes of a 7 minute shower, the rest of the water was cold. The breakfast was delicious and generous but served without a mask which is not only against the mask mandate but risky. Overall if you don't care about virus mitigation, don't mind an unlocked bedroom door, no bathroom amenities and cold showers but love lots of great food and have extra income then this wouldn't be...
Read moreThis is my absolute favorite restaurant in all of Douglas County. It is such a beautiful place to have a relaxing lunch. Wendi is a wonderful hostess, and the food, which she makes herself, is always delicious. Her tea room is decorated so beautifully, and when you are there, it feels like you have stepped back in time to a lovelier place. Anywhere you sit, you have the best seat in the house. Wendi takes really good care of all her customers. I don't know how she does it all, but she does it well. I have taken my mom and sister (several times) for a girl's day out, and we celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday with seven guests in attendance. Every time, we have been treated to the most fantastic service and attention to detail. I plan on returning regularly. You don't have to be a girl to enjoy this place either. My husband and son love it too. It's...
