Tried to stay here to ride the Bear Creek trails. Even though it is listed twice in the description, they won't let you access the trail unless you put your OHV on a trailer and drive the few hundred feet (depending on campsite) to the trail head. We have a toyhauler and were told we had to break camp, load our wheelers, and drive the unloading area. While I understand they don't want people riding around the campground, they need to either remove the trails from their list of activities, or grant permission to get to the trails. Read moreWe picked this camp ground because it was well situated between Crater of Diamonds and Wegner Crystal Forest. I can honestly say this is one of the best cramp grounds I've been to in a long time. The sites are well kept, level, easy to navigate, and very spacious! I didn't feel like we were "on top" of others. Very relaxing stay. The only thing that would have made this any better was if it has sewer hook ups as well, there is a dump station but having 3 kids and 2 adults you know how that goes. While attempting to use the facilities near our campsite, a member of the cleaning crew that was finishing up the women's restroom spoke so incredibly rudely to me, warning me that if I attempted to enter the restroom while they were in there, she would call someone to remove me!
