My wife and I had occasion to stay at the Inn at Neah Bay for 3 nights in early September as a base for exploring the far northwest corner of Washington. This fairly small, 4 room, inn is located about a 10 minute drive east of the town of Neah Bay. The place is so homey and relaxing and Dora the innkeeper was wonderful. She made us feel so at home and was a great source of information about the area. By the time we left we felt like we'd made a new friend. Our room was quite large, immaculately clean and very comfortable. One thing that isn't mentioned on the website is that Dora provides a really nice continental breakfast in the morning with coffee, pastries, cereal and a number of other options, much better than your typical chain hotel. The only downside is that the wifi is painfully slow but I'm not really sure if that's because of the remote location of the property or something else but it didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay. Read moreThe Inn at Neah Bay is a wonderful place for a group or family. There were nine of us (originally was supposed to be ten). We stayed 5 days and rented the entire Inn. The Inn is clean and comfortable. Plenty of common spaces to watch TV - play games - just chat. We cooked all our own Breakfasts and Dinners in the very well-appointed kitchen and there's a barbecue grill too. The frig wasn't working when we got there --- and Joy had maintenance respond right away.||Most definitely recommend the Inn! - especially for a group.||And Neah Bay is an awesome place to visit. Lots of hiking trails - tide pools to explore - beautiful area.||The only thing I would add is you have to go up one flight of stairs to enter the house and then another flight to get to the main living area so not handicap accessible.||THANK YOU Joy! We will be...
Read moreThis is my second stay at the Inn at Neah Bay. Tom and Dora continue to impress. The COVID precautions were in place and as always the Inn was spotless. The reason for the trip was to relax and team build as co workers/friends...even though there are only 4 of us. The Inn was a perfect base - quiet and comfortable. Tom really lives the "excel" in Excel Fishing Charters. The propane grill at the Inn was available so we grilled a feast the night before our fishing trip and didn't have to leave the property. Plenty of room in the back to spread out with chairs and a picnic table. Dora even provided us the butter we forgot :-) There was bottled water and snacks waiting. Plenty of hand sanitizer too. This property and the...
