This was our first time rv camping and I think it went well. Staff people were nice. Spaces were tight and not level but it wasn't too bad. I couldn't put out my awning because of the trees or really sit outside. The spot was pull thru on gravel. The rv sewage cap will be under your rv and the water pump you just pull up to use, not an actual pump. People drive golf carts around but the hills are tough. Walking up the main hill from the main office to the campground takes some serious strength. If you like hiking big hills or mountain biking this place would be perfect. Fished a little and caught a lot of bluegills. I would say 90% of people live here full time or leave their rig full time. Most people were nice but the lady next to us was pretty rude. We ignored her and she left us alone. I wish there were garbage cans around the site other than the main dumpsters at the very front. I didn't see any of there were. They were doing a lot of work to the grounds to make it pretty. Very dog friendly place. Nice and quiet all day. I fell asleep around 9pm and wasn't disturbed until people left for work early (8am) when their trucks pull out. Overall good campground.

We read the reviews & was a little nervous when we booked this for our family trip over Laber Day Weekend, but we had a blast the seasonal's were friendly the guy behind us was so nice he moved his vehicle so we could pull-through & make a buddy site. His wife brought us jello shots to welcome us. They showed us to our site & made sure we didn't need any help getting set up. The owners were around visiting & very friendly. We will definitely be going back maybe our new seasonal spot. Lots to do for the family from trails, pool, fishing, putt-putt, play grounds, there are lots of picnic areas, you can bring your golf cart & your pet. If you love camping & don't mind dirty you will love it.

We went for service on our RV. The dealer we used to go to took weeks to get into. We had an appt for months on the books, but they closed down right before our winterization visit. I had no idea where to go. Then I found Mini Mountain offers quite a slate of services - what a Godsend! The staff there is super knowledgeable and amazing! They really helped us out! Mini Mountain is such a beautiful place! The grounds are well kept and delightfully decorated for fall. I absolutely want to camp there, it looks like a lot of fun! I'll share some photos from today, 10/21/23.

We just returned from a 3 night stay. (Oct '17).

The good: The hiking trails are VERY nice. They are marked well and rustic. They are also decent length. It was wonderful to be able to walk through the woods. The fishing pond is great, and you can catch some HUGE fish in there. We caught bluegill, crappie, and bass. It's easy to fish around the banks and the kids loved it. The hayride (Sat only) is nice. It's a comfortable ride, and it's a good length as well. It goes around the entire campground. The playgrounds were nice for the kids, the putt putt was in bad shape, but the kids still had fun. We brought our boat and they had room for us to store it in another area at no charge, which was nice.

The not so good: The full hookup things (water, electric, sewer) are not located conveniently in proximity to each other on the sites. For example on our full hookup site, the water was supposedly to be shared with the next site. The hook up for water was on the far end of the neighboring site (a good 20-30 FEET away). You had to run a hose across the neighbors site AND get a splitter to share the water source. Also the electric box was located the opposite side of the site of the water, so regardless how you park you will have to run some long extensions to one or the other. Also there are some permanents who just have trashed sites. It's fairly hit or miss, but the dumpy ones are pretty bad.

The downright TERRIBLE: The noice and drunkenness of permanents. Quiet hours are not enforced here AT ALL. The first night the people across the way were having an obscene shouting match at around midnight. They also had the radio blaring and golf carts going and stopping. We did call the line to complain and they did come out and get them quiet. However it was the same thing the next night only worse. They let us know these people are known for it. (Why wouldn't they be removed??) When we booked we asked about any activities going on while we would be there. They said hayride. Great. Well, when we actually stayed they failed to mention they were having a DJ from 8-11pm. (And apparently this happens every single Saturday) It was LOUD. Very VERY loud. We couldn't even sit around our campfire and really hear each other talk. One side of us had the dj music and the other had the problem permanents blaring music and stumbling drunk around. The DJ was supposed to end at 11 (which is quiet hours) however they continued to blare music till 11:30 before shutting it down. The rest of the night till around 4am was the neighbors shouting, blaring music and flying around in golf carts. There were also people completely drunk driving golf carts which was somewhat scary.

The real shame in all of this is the campground totally has amazing potential. It has some nice amenities, it's large, and it would be a really fun family camp. They allow the party crowd to ruin it for families looking to enjoy a nice weekend of camping.

If you have kids and like sitting around a campfire with them enjoying stories and good times, don't come here. If you like loud music, partying and drunkenness, this is the place for you.

Lastly, we read many reviews before we decided to give it a try. They were so mixed we thought maybe it was just a few people with unwarranted complaints or they were too rigid about noise. NOPE. They were SPOT ON. Heed our warning families and stay very far away. It's a total party campground and they clearly don't care. (When the campground itself has events past quiet hours, that tells a lot)

Happy to be home to finally get to sleep in peace. It's a shame our mini vacation...

It took us about an hour to check in. The office was closed two hours early. I knew where our campsite was so went to set up and found someone else was on our site reserved 3 months prior. It took 5 phone calls and 45 minutes to get someone to come to the office and get us checked in. The campgrounds are in disrepair. The pool water was green. The mini-golf is closed from lack of maintenance. The roads are full of pot holes or are dirt / mud. Much of the grass is worn away. The campsites aren't marked or are poorly marked. The bathrooms are not cleaned and the doors are literally off the hinges both front and stall doors. I almost fell off the toilet cause it wasn't secured to the floor. The speed limit wasn't enforced. There seemed to be a golf cart race through the grounds at about 1030 our first night. The rest of the time the golf carts are flying through there with beer in hand. Then, there are the weekend warriors that just come out there to get drunk and fight with each other. The yelling and swearing didn't start until quiet hours started. One of them decided it was a good idea to drive after drinking all day. So, off the road they went and more yelling, swearing and door slamming ensued. I called the office to complain and they sent the maintenance guy 20 minutes later with a tractor to get them out. I called again and no...

If you're just passing through and need a quick hook up for a day or so this is ALL this campground is good for. The staff are unfriendly and don't take time to inform or offer assistance to customers. My entire experience during my one month stay here was beyond HORRIBLE! I felt unwelcome and like a burden to the staff. I wasn't shown or informed of ANY of the amenities available here; nor was I properly informed of the low water pressure, lack of sewage, or the difficulty of the accessibility of the lots. I went 3 full days with THEIR sewage flooded around my RV. Every time I asked them to pump and clean the mess I was given a new reason on why they couldn't clean it. when the 3rd day came and I was at my wits end they finally cleaned up the mess that apparently they had more important things to take care of than the sewage that was so deeply flooded around my home I couldn't walk to my door. I had to sleep on my friends couch with my 7 year old who was crying begging me to go home. I will never stay here again. Nor would I reccomend anyone to stay for an extended period of time. For every issue that was resolved, another popped up and they were equally just as terrible with the time they took...
