This is such a beautiful campground! The sites are nice and roomy and each have a fire pit with a grate and a sturdy picnic table. There are several secure trash cans around the area, so you can dispose of your garbage safely. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. There is a board at the front entrance with maps and suggestions of things to do around the area. New Castle is 30 minutes away where you can pick up supplies and get cell reception. We hiked the Lipes Branch trail. The trail is overgrown in places but not overall hard to follow. It starts off flat but about 30 minutes in gets much steeper. It provides beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

10 sets for camping you can also camp across the street by the creek and can stay 21 days I feel very safe because there's a lot of police activity and unmarked cars and mark cars so there's a lot of activity out here especially with the Jeep trail not too far they do have a water for drinking they do test regularly and they got toilet type bathrooms stayed here for two nights we'll stay again it is a quiet out here did see a bear and a bunch of deer

Small campground with a jeep trail along the Ridgeline. If you like outdoor jeep stuff, this is the place to be this summer. The campground only has like 10 spots but you can use the jeep trails for free.

This is the best I've been to for dispersed camping! Fire rings, huge, very sturdy picnic table, clean vault bathroom, lots and lots of wood to collect, pulverized gravel on each site. This is better than what you pay for at state parks or anywhere. Also, great place to collect mushrooms and take a dip (or bathe) in the nearby creek. Camp is very well maintained, but there are no regular Rangers, ever. We needed a battery jump and called the ranger station, she said they are under staffed and busy, it would be a day or two, so be prepared to seek help from locals. We went down on the main road and flagged down a guy, thankfully he was very knowledgeable and so willing and helped us two women! (I had more than battery problems) Our ONLY complaint is completely to you visitors!!!!! Clean up after yourselves! Very very sad to see people trash a campsite. # disgusting Also, there is a gravel drive next to campground entrance, this is for horses!!! Lush grasses, nice sites, (three I think) and a small corral that holds no more than two horses, but it's an awesome area. Also, great trails. AGAIN, clean up after...

Went there to spend a night in a tent and felt very unsafe. Only one other camper was there, who warned us that crazy people would come at night and that he hoped we had a gun with us, even offering for us to borrow one of his guns. This person appeared to be living at the campsite and stopped by often to check on us, which was extremely uncomfortable. The facilities seemed clean and well maintained but our interaction was unnerving so we packed up and...
