Lazy G Venue — Hotel in New Hope

Wow, The Lazy G is an absolute gem!

We had the most incredible one-night stay in the Honeymoon Suite, and it was truly a dream. The room itself was a haven of relaxation, boasting a magnificent handcrafted king bed, a luxurious jacuzzi tub, a spacious walk-in shower, and even a private sauna. It felt like our own private spa retreat – perfect for a couple looking to unwind.

Beyond the suite, the grounds are simply breathtaking. We spent so much time just wandering and taking photos, discovering charming cabins, a picturesque covered bridge, a sweet wedding chapel, a tranquil creek, rustic barns, a lovely gazebo, and even a hidden cave! It's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully designed.

We can't recommend The Lazy G enough, not just for a romantic getaway, but also as an amazing venue for weddings, family reunions, or company events. The variety and beauty of the property offer endless possibilities. We're already planning our next visit!

We absolutely loved our stay in cabin #9 when we were visiting family in Huntsville in October. The setting is beautifully serene and the little cabin was PERFECT for all our needs! Melinda is a gracious host and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had crates for our two dogs, but they were so happy to get out of the truck after a 6 hour drive, that they ran off before we could get them confined to the porch. They returned after a 4 hour jaunt in the woods, thankfully. The cabin is far from major traffic, so my concern wasn’t that they’d be hit by a car. They thoroughly enjoyed hiking the area on leashes later in the week! We highly recommend Lazy G as a place to stay when in the Huntsville and surrounding area! I am saddened at the way this place has acted. They were unprofessional from the start of the wedding. They will tell you that you can use their golf carts to help transport guests but not follow through. They will try to make you repair broke items that you did not do. Many of the reviews recently seem to echo this. They will show up during your reception and ask who is going to clean up when you have until the next day to be gone. They expect you to clean the place better then when you arrived despite the cleaning fee in the 6,000 they charge. This place in a scam. Do not book a wedding here unless you want a headache and extra fees. The wedding we had was small and not rowdy at all, I could imagine if you wanted to actually have a good time then they would bother...
