This place was amazing. It all started when we walked in the door around 9pm on a Thursday, we were worn out from a 9 hour trip, and was greeted with the warmest smile and friendly voice. I wish I knew her name. She was an cute older lady with short light brown/blonde hair. She said she lives in Ohio. All smiles. We explained our situation about how we came to town for my father-in-laws funeral but had went to a motel down the street and how we walked in, checked in, saw our room, made some complaints, and checked out. Thats the short version. We shared some laughs and some pictures of the place. She made us feel right at home. We booked our stay for 1 night, only to falling in love with the room and ended up staying another night. The day we booked the 2nd night there was a girl with long dark hair and she was super friendly as well. The room smelt so good, it was so clean and the bed, pillows, comforters and towels were so soft and fluffy! It had a couch, tv, small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, long wrap around desk with a fancy rolling chair where you can sit to eat, a divider between the bed and couch, mountain view from the windows, mounted tv, small sink to wash dishes if you have any, ironing board and iron. I never sleep well anywhere other than home but this time I slept like a baby. We were on the 4th floor and it was quiet. The last day when we were leaving I grabbed a to go plate of breakfast and it was delicious. They even had decaf coffee and flavored creamers. I love that it's so updated and close to everything in town. Oh when we were leaving the same lady that checked us in was there plus another gentlemen and they were so happy and friendly. Not a fake friendly. Actually nice people. We really enjoyed our stay and will be telling everyone about this place. We will be returning. Thank you for having such a wonderful staff that seems to love what they do and such a clean, comfy, safe place for people to stay. Please tell the staff we thank them very much and you are lucky...
Read moreI'm writing this at 3 in the morning in my first floor room. The heater is loud as hell. Probably needs to be serviced. I can hear everything outside the room. The walls are paper thin, and the snoring from the guy in the next room sounds like he needs to participate in a sleep study for a medical condition. The doors slam so hard in this place, if it happens near your room, it sounds like someone is breaking in. That happened about 15 minutes ago. Remember the 3 in the morning part? I guess someone on the overnight staff is making food in the dining area, because a plate dropped, and the sound of a plastic container being forced open is the best alarm clock I've ever had. That was 10 minutes ago. I can't comment on the breakfast, as I haven't gotten there yet. Yes, the room is quite clean, and the beds are comfortable, but what's the point if there's no sleep to be had? I honestly think I'd have been better off...
Read moreI know for a FACT there are far more rooms with bedbugs than they want the public to know. I actually saw several rooms infested with them. Oh and btw when you hear the staff taking about "teddy bears" the bedbugs are what they are referring to. If you choose to stay there anyways then consider yourself forewarned and make sure and consult a reputable exterminatorbefore you bring ANY of your luggage/bags into your house and do everything you can to make sure those nasty creatures don't make it inside your home, where they will...
