Orangewood Lakes Mobile Home Community — Hotel in New Port Richey

10/17/24 If this site would let me write another review I would so I am gonna add to my old post. After buying into the park in 2019 and now going on 6 years of ownership I have seen more of Brenda and Toms hands on management of Orangewood. They still do a wonderful job making this park a great place to live. We wouldn’t want to stay in park under any other management since that was a top reason we purchased. They always go the extra mile trying hard to resolve issues within and continue to keep it beautiful . The maintenance crew also works hard cleaning our grounds and deserve a big thank you too. It is a wonderful place to call home away from home! Thank you all for your dedication and care in our OWL community!

We came down in spring of 2018 to visit friends that purchased a mobile home in 2017! We met the managers Tom and Brenda Brady and being all from Michigan we hit it off! They were very helpful and make this place feel Like home. Another one of our couple friends purchased in 2018 and then us in 2019. We love the park and it being a park that financially allows for us to be snowbirds! The friends we have made in this park have created a family atmosphere and makes it easier for us to leave our families that can’t be with us behind at home while we start to experience what full retirement life will be like! Again Tom and Brenda Brady and most of the residents here are the main reason why we chose this community! Lived here for 2 years now. Yes , the park is beautiful , and meticulously maintained , but as noted by other reviewers , if you're not in their " inner circle" , the rules are bent continually. IMHO , these are the worst , most unpleasant management team I've ever had to deal with in my 50 or more years of living, and owning businesses in the Pasco/Pinellas area. I chaired the Code Enforcement Board in Tarpon Springs , and dealt closely with the police dept's in each county. My word is valid. Sorry to feel it necessary to post this , but trying to deal rationally with management is impossible. Surely hope I'm not accused of killing President Kennedy , and evicted from the park. Hopefully I'll be able to live out my "Silver Years" peacefully here without constant problems .... it IS a lovely...

If I was going to move into a 55 and it would never be orangewood, in fact moving out because the management if you are not friends they try to bully you. I've lived here 7 years and until they got new management it was great, now not so much. They try to compound late fees illegal in the state of Florida and they know it and that's what makes it worst. If we just had to deal with the home office on Congress it would be, they are very professional. All I can say is if you're moving make sure the managers like you and are your friends.
