We recently had our amazing wedding experience at T & R Inn Between the Lakes. I call it an experience because it was much more than just a ceremony and reception at a place with a cool barn and a beautiful garden. It was a whole weekend of friends, family, and love, facilitated by our amazing and thoughtful hosts Ric and Toy. ||||They were responsive and communicative in our wedding planning and they went above and beyond all expectations when it came to pulling off our big day. Ric and Toy were ready with a plan A, B and C to account for all circumstances. It was wonderful to stay at the beautiful bed and breakfast for the wedding weekend. For the small and intimate group that we had gathered for our wedding, it was like a home away from home. ||||Ric and Toy have a true treasure at T& R Inn Between The Lakes. The rebuilt barn and remodeled outhouse are fantastic in and of themselves. We also marveled at the many beautiful gardens, the thoughtful landscaping and the general warmth and beauty of our destination. ||||Our suite was roomy, clean and comfortable. Our guests who stayed in the other suites expressed similar sentiments. Our guests who camped under the stars didn't complain either. ||||I can't say enough nice things about the Inn and the gracious hosts. Cannot wait to return for our 5 year anniversary! ||||Sincerely,||||The...
Read moreOur daughter recently got married nearby. We had family come in from overseas as well as from all corners of the US. The Inn with its five rooms was exactly what we needed. When we booked Ric was very helpful in making changes as needed. In the end we booked the entire Inn for five nights. This decision could not have been better. Ric and Toy are a delightful couple who were extremely helpful in accommodating every need. The breakfasts each morning were freshly made and truly wonderful. The Inn is "rustic country", but clean and has all the ambiance one would hope for. The grounds are gorgeous. They offer weddings at the Inn as well as there is a huge barn on the property that oozes history and charm.||Because our daughters wedding took most of our time away from the Inn, we did not get to explore the area as much as we would have liked. However that gives us a great reason to return some day. When it was time to leave we felt we had made some wonderful new friends in Ric and Toy. We totally recommend this Inn...
Read moreWe searched google for a place to stay close to Vandalia, Michigan and found this hidden gem. We were greeted by an ornately carved troll-house tree at the front of the property. The grounds were amazing- beautiful paths, wildflowers, an old barn (that was being used the following weekend for a class reunion). The accommodations were adequate and very reasonably priced. The hosts were two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. They checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. A hot pot of coffee was left on our enclosed back deck early in the morning (which overlooked their gorgeous grounds) and we we served an amazing breakfast at the time requested by our party. The four of us highly recommend this for an overnight stay in southwest Michigan. Space is limited, so try to book in advance. We got lucky and got 2 rooms a few days before our stay, but they were booked before our stay and...
