Unfortunately our experience was a bit disappointing. I booked one night at Abbey Road for my partner's birthday. We wanted to get away for a night, and one of the main reasons I chose this bed and breakfast is because the rooms looked very charming. Specifically, what really sold me on Abbey Road was the large, 2-person soaking tub in each room. I thought it would be a really special surprise for my partner, since it would likely be cold and raining outside. Alas, when we tried to use the bath, zero water came out of the tub filler. I texted the innkeeper, asking for help at about 9:30pm, and received no response. The next morning I called and left a message, but again, received no response whatsoever. It's been a couple weeks and I have not received a call, an email, or credit. For over $300/night, I expect more. When you stay at bed and breakfasts, without a front desk to reach, you are relying on the innkeeper to be available when the guests need their help. It felt like once Abbey Road got our money for 1 night, we were no longer a priority.
Edit: Hi Kristen, thank you for the quick reply. I will try to give you a call tomorrow. FYI, the number I called and texted when we were staying there is 971-334-9844, which is the number listed for you innkeeper in your digital guidebook, which we were texted a link...
Read moreWow! I cannot express how grateful I am to have had my wedding reception out at Abbey Road Farm. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful place to see in early Fall. My guests were blown away by the views, and the venue space was everything we needed. Abbey Road includes tables, chairs, yard games, and has a very handy tool to plan out your layout.
Breanna had stellar communication and made meeting with her and the tours go so smoothly. She answered all of our questions with ease and gave us some wonderful suggestions on wedding vendors, one of which was Dani Bee Weddings(our wedding planner) who was everything we needed. Breanna also got married at Abbey Road Farm so she is a great person to ask all the wedding planning questions to!
We rented out the silos, all five rooms, for our wedding party and it made the actual wedding day go so much smoother! Breakfast is included with the silo stay so everyone was fed and happy. We had access to the property for the entire day and didn’t have to worry about other people intruding on our photos and reception. The animals are absolutely adorable and the entire aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for. Plus, your own fur babies are allowed on leash!...
Read moreMy mother and I stayed at the silos for one night, in the Chardonnay room—what a treat it was! No notes, every detail well thought out and well appointed. The silos have just been remodeled and fantastically so—luxury bedding and towels, incredibly comfortable mattress, wonderful tub and shower. We felt so spoiled and would’ve been happy there for quite some time. We enjoyed chatting with the folks working in the gardens and watching all the farm animals. Everyone was so kind and happy to chat if desired, however our time in the silos was very quiet and we were able to retreat (unlike other B&B experiences). Self check in after hours was easy and foolproof. But wait, there’s more. Prepare yourself for an unbelievable 5 course breakfast…menu changes constantly and it’s obvious the chef really loves what he does. We followed up breakfast with a trip to the Tasting Room, before departing. Again, the employees could not have been more pleasant—going the extra mile to help us with shipping supplies for our acquired wine and offering suggestions for hikes and restaurants along our route that day. What a remarkable experience, we won’t forget our stay...
