Punderson State Park Campground — Hotel in Newbury Township

The bathrooms were clean, the playground is modern. It all looked lovely! Until at night, this “family campground” kept my family awake till 4:30am. I know it’s a holiday weekend but be weary that tent camping on a busy weekend means the quiet hour is not upheld. People who were partying blasted music and yelled till 4am. After the sherif was called and they still weren’t quiet. My family and I left our reservation early cause we couldn’t do another night without sleep and cranky children. Nice, quiet campgrounds even at capacity. Nice place for those with dogs that might be a bit shy. More FHU sites were added last year I believe, the loop is very nice and shaded.
