Accidentally booked the wrong town - my bad, right? Called the hotel literally 1 minute from the booking and explained the situation - I booked via Priceline but accidentally picked the wrong location, can I cancel or move it to the other one? Was told they’d cancel it without a charge, no problem, have a nice night! Whew, awesome. Stayed in the correct town that night, no big deal. Next day my credit card is charged the entire amount, it never drops off, and now the staff is claiming they never spoke to me at all and that they held a room for me each night so I am to pay the full amount. Someone is lying to keep the money and after seeing other reviews of poor service and lack of cleanliness via other websites I’m guessing that’s the best way they can generate income. I have phone records to prove I did talk to them at the exact time I said, but now they just hang up on myself AND the Priceline representative. Real classy place! I would highly suggest recording any discussions with them in any manner if it could even possibly result in a “he said she said”! I would’ve driven there and video’ed the ordeal had I known the night clerk would decide to lie about...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. Do not stay here! We pulled in very late at night after about 12 hours of driving hoping for a hot shower and a goodnight sleep. When we walked through the door these rooms look nothing like the photos!
There were blood stains on the bed, other peoples garbage and dirty towels in the bathroom. There were bugs everywhere, and bed bugs in the bed, yes we have pictures of the bed bug. The rooms smelt so bad as well. We took the bed bug down to the front desk and they offered a different room, we ended up driving 20 minutes down the road to the Coshocton Village Inn which was great.
We reached out afterwards to Super 8 regarding the bed bugs and they passed the inquiry onto the owner who insists there are no bed bugs, no bloody sheets, and nothing wrong with the cleanliness of his hotel. Wyndham needs to seriously consider if they’d like to be affiliated with the reputation...
Read moreExpectations are not high when one stays at a 2-star property. That said, I was overall satisfied with my stay.||The rooms are on the old, worn-out side. But, my room came with a small round table and chairs which was great. My room had two beds: Interestingly, each bed had different pillows: one bed had firm pillows, the other had soft ones. It was great to be able to choose! And, as I'm not a fan of cooler weather, I was thankful that the A/C had a "warm" setting and was able to maintain the temp in the high 70s. I would have liked USB plug ins to recharge my devices, but I did not see any in my room.||The breakfast serving was basic, as expected.||The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly: Came out to greet me and opened the door for me as my car pulled in. ||The surrounding area is quite sparse - only two fast-food...
